it's impossible for eth $1000.
Now eth price's $300,i think until the end of this year eth price will be in the price range 300-400.

I'm guessing $500-600 by end of year. Good buying and holding period right now to the coin up before btc hardfork 25th octocber. Hopefully it will skyrocket.

I don't think it will reach $1000 by the end of this year, it's slowly moving upwards but still haven't reach a new ath since a few months ago and even went down half the price. I'm thinking of around $600 max by the end of this year, it might happen.

After i saw the price after hard fork it will not goes $1000 in the end of this year maybe after the next software launch it will explode to that price. In 2018 they will launch new software and that is the momentum for ethereum to goes to $1000. However ethereum has goes up pretty high from january price.

I hope so the ethereum price will reach 1000 dollars so we can make a lot of profit yo those people have ethereum in their wallet. As of nwo the price of ethereum is 300 dollars plus and possible price of ethereum before end of this year 2017 is 500- 1000 dollars and I hope it will happen this year. just because bitcoin is rising doean't mean other altcoins can rise the same way too.
and if they do it will be the first time in the history of altcoins that they rise in the long term. we can all see that ETH price has been dropping ever since this topic was created! if OP wants $1000 then he has to start pumping ethereum because he is running out of time.

good news is that SegWit2x can help the pump if it causes a drop in bitcoin but again the time-frame will be very short. i give him 2 weeks tops window of opportunity to pump but it won't happen as fast nor as big.

ETH 1000$? I doubt that in all sincerity. Going back memory lane, ETH was at the tens region not until the several token creation on its platform as a result of the several.ICOs coming out which give little stress of coding and the likes on the part of the developers this is mainly what led to the extra ordinary push ETH got to move to the region of hundreds but with the restriction on ICOs, some folding up after considering the legal ramifications around it, I really doubt if ETH  can push to that height.

i think we won't see 1000$ this year. I could possibly reach 400$ to 500$ by the end of the year. 1000$ ccould happen in late 2018 or so but we would need a lot of good news for this

ETH is very good coin after BTC in history of cryptocurrency .i guess it will touch 1000$ in coming few months

ETH is probably still going to be the king of alts for years to come, however i can see price going sub-0.05 for a while now. In fact, i think that most likely it may actually go down to around 0.02 BTC that started the bullish trend for ETH this year.

$1k per ETH would mean that ETH's market cap will roughly equal to bitcoin.

IMO, this will not happen, ever. ETH is just not that great.

Eh, if the countries that ban it, lift the ban and apply regulations it'll become super stable hovering around ~1000ish. But until then we are in a struggle. Hopefully it will remain as it is and keep being second on coinmarketcap. I really believe it is a truly amazing project and Vitalik is doing a great job holding strong. It also became a platform for most of the tokens. Let's all cross fingers and hope that it will only go up from now.

I personally think there might be some shift towards QTUM by the end of this year. Just a personal opinion. I'm not saying that ETH will lose its value but I feel like there will be some attention divided to QTUM.

Ethereum is a good altcoin despite of what happen to this coin recently, Ethereum proved that he will stand up and continue what he was started,  but I don't think the price will rise up to $1000 this year because the month of October will nearly end and the price is still $300+. But looking forward for Ethereum to hike up to $400 at the end of the year.
