ETH target 1000$ in ending of this year

I don't think $1000 is the target for this year. Maybe next year but it's definitely not this year. I also have big Ethereum investment and I hope to see 4 digits soon but it's not too realistic. Especially while ICO's still collect big amont of ETH and dump it in the market. We need to wait more to see 4 digits. Maybe 6-9 months later we can see new rally.

Its a big target for ETH in my opinion. And during the height of its hype around May-June ETH didn't even reach $500, correct me if I'm wrong so why do I we think that it will even touch $1000 at the end of the year?

Yes, smart contracts and everything hands down there's no doubt that ETH is far superior than bitcoin, but why it didn't gain enough traction to push the price to at least $500? Because its just being used for pump and dump just like any other altcoins.

well, for now, eth price is really far from the $ 1000 price, and I think it will stay stable for a long time. but, I see the potential of eth that will have a high price in the future. so I guess that would be a good investment place.

By the end of this year between $500 to $600 is quite feasible but eventually in 2018, it should touch $1000 mark, taking into account the awaited developments in Ethereum.

I believe ETH will perform very well as well before the end of the year. We've seen many price appreciations usually during such times, and if it doesn't reach that point in 2017 or by the end of it, it will do so in 2018, because there are so many things planned with Ethereum. To start with we'll be seeing some awesome protocol updates which will completely change the network, we'll se PoS being implemented which will drive prices up, because people will want to hold ETH in order to validate transactions and get paid. Second we'll see a price appreciation when the privacy features are implemented (Zsnarks), when that has happened it will attract the attention of big institutions which are focused on financial transactions (it's very important to them that transactions are well "hidden" and that their customers are well protected, their privacy that is). All these things will drive up prices sooner or later.

I believe ETH will go to 500 level before this year end, but next year, lots of ICO's Byzantine upgrade and Ethereum POS POW decision are factors that will give us opinion about the value. But this year 500 next year max 750 is my guess. 1000 is a hard goal because of the marketcap. Other platforms will also threat Ethereum these days.

I think it must be end of next year. you need to patience is required to ETH Touch 1000$. i agree with you Ethereum is a good coin. But I don’t thing its well reach $1000 target.

1000$ by ETH is way too much to be reached by the end of the year. It is actually just priced over 300$, it will never under any circumstence, except maybe the adoption as official currency by China, reach 1000$ by the end of the year.

So, it would seem that this target will not be reached, with just over 6 weeks left to the end of 2017. Even if it gains 10% a week, it will not be enough,,, although if it does that, it will almost be double and I will hate myself for saying it!

On the other hand, if Bitcoin continue and crosses the 10k territory then ETH along with all the other alts will want to push boundaries and break new all times. So, who knows, $500 can be a good Christmas present for all you Ethereum holders. Too bad about the rewards going down, though.

You can guess and hope as much as you want but that is not going to make it true, ETH is struggling to keep its current price, ETH was hit very hard with the ban of icos coming from china this has put a lot less money in ETH and icos and this has made the demand for ETH lower and I do not see why the demand for ETH is going to go higher when there is simply not need for it.

I agree with you Ethereum is a good coin and second position in cryptocurrency but without any big news Ethereum price 1000$ within few months its impossible I think because there is much resistance levels restrict price increase
I believe Ethereum will go to 350/400 $ before this year end

If it goes up to $500 that would be new ATH and great success for ETH. $1000 is not too realistic anymore. Last 45 days, we shouldn't expect such high number otherwise that would possibly be heartbreaking moment. Keep it realistic, aim for $500.

1000$ in the end of this year seems a bit over. Maybe the price will reach 500$ in this date , but it will need some other time to hit the $1k level. However the Eth price keep increasing recently and it is expected that this altcoin's price will become higher very soon, as many ICO's devs and investors need it.

If thats the case than it's a major loss vs all the other coins that will be going up 300-600% easy. If eth only goes up to 350 by the end of the year that will be a huge loss vs btc.
