HELP - Can not get my BCC/BCH when using Bitcoin QT or using ElectronCash ??

Hi All

I have followed this guide, which seems VERY simple -

I have downloaded the whole blockchain, and encrypted the wallet.

BUT when i goto the Command Line and enter-

walletpassphrase (yourfullpassword) 6000

Then i enter the next phrase using a PRIVATE KEY i know 100% was in use before split

importprivkey (yourBTCprivatekey)

just a 'box' with 'rescanning' and NO BCH at the end I have tried nearly ALL keys now ?

So no BCH

BUT on step 7 it does not ask for keys, it is asking for default wallet password.

I enter my Electrum password and it seems to accept it, but then just closes ?

I have directed to my Electrum Wallet but still get the same ??

Anyone help PLEASE !!!

ps...I have put all my BTC in a new wallet, so the keys i am using are from my old wallet from before fork.

All sorted..Had to move old Electrum Folder, and recovered BCC with old wallet seed, 13 BCH an still syncing 

To sell or keep, that is the question now...lol

Congrats!

You could've added the seed to Electroncash too and your wallet would be instant synced!

Been trying to get them for a MONTH !!! Downloading the WHOLE blockchain, with an ancient laptop/slow HDD !

Looks like the same page as the one i used...Did you leave your BCH is the wallet or is there a safer option ? I'm waiting on a Ledger nano..

You can still download the http://www.electroncash.org/ wallet an add your seed there.
And with a strong password your BCH should be relative safe.

Yea, that is the one i used mate..It states in my Subject heading and link on first post...I did not realise..lol
