So, how exactly are the 100,000 other miners using a gpu (0.5-1MH max) supposed to join in? I mean even with 6x1060gtx rig with scrypt i think they manage only about 8 MH....even the very best previous gen asics only managed 100MH, but at massive power draw (1500W), so what actually is there in this for anyone but the existing 11 miners in that pool? Seems a very small market. You might want to re-read your own "Eddie against shitcoins" bit. I believe this to be a genuine coin, but, what's new? New Algo, nope. New features, Nope. Any way, just my thoughts...i wish you well, and i'll pick it up again in a few weeks when its all been dumped and they're on the next scrypt coin

well yes, but is very difficult to launch a coin and avoid pool operators to create pools, rig owners to solo mine as well. is certainly an utopia, at the end, many people has to use other rigs, renting them for example if they can not throw a decent hash rate ... thank you for your feedback & support sir, much appreciated

A bit of unneccessary hate going on in this thread

The coin was launched with no premine. There's no  bulldust ICO and no stupid business buzz words promising the future of currency and free ice-cream for everyone.

I appreciate that some people only have GPU rigs (myself included, in fact I have 1 super crappy gpu, not even a rig), however I  rented a rig for 6 hours from the rental site for about $3 worth of bitcoin and mined a few hundred coins. I might get my money back, I might not, but it was fun. If you want to mine it with GPU's, then you won't get that many coins.

I can't help but feel if the Dev launched a GPU coin, people would then complain that they can't mine with Asic. At some stage some people are going to be dissapointed in the Algo choice, no matter what is chosen. Its a shame for GPU Miners that it's not a GPU friendly algo, but it doesnt make the coin launch any less fair.

Ultimately, the likelihood of a coin named Eddie , with Iron Maiden branding bringing you financial riches is pretty damn slim, however pooping on the coin and the dev when he made a 0% premine coin is pretty lame.

The Dev launched the coin with no premine. He's responsive in the thread. I might make a few dollars out of his hard work if we're lucky. He seems like a cool guy who doesn't afraid if you ask me

So, I have kind of bad news, I was contacting owner of some of the pictures used by us, and he like but can't allow it and he invite us to take our time and contact Iron Maiden to request an authorization, and is what we are going to do! in the meanwhile we've removed images from our site and we have a 2nd possible design standing by until further news from IM. Cross your fingers, we do!
Whatever what is the final result of this ''issue'' we keep on developing this 0% premine coin even if a new design and concept is necessary. Waiting more news to keep you posted!
