rpcallowip=192.168.2.138 must be 192.168.2.*
ex: my ip is: 192.168.1.10 , so it's rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
Try it.

I've updated the ANN thread, try this :

Solo Mining Details:

create file EduCoin.conf in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\EduCoin

rpcuser=YOURUSERNAME
rpcpassword=YOURPASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=17388
port=17389
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1

Configure your bat using the following:

-o http://127.0.0.1:17388 -u YOURUSERNAME -p YOURPASSWORD

Then with your wallet running, run your Miner.bat

solo mining is difficult with this nethash. When will be a pool ready for mining?
maybe it has some mistakes in code, pool don't count blocks although client found blocks, some reports above and devs ignore it with their silent.  Angry

The Keccak from Maxcoin appears to need a specific configuration in order or work properly.

You're using the wrong port on your miner bat file.

Change the 127.0.0.1:17389 to 127.0.0.1:17388.

Nice algorithm, for the time being I will happily mining this coin. The project is really interesting and has a future. I'm waiting for news and good luck to the team.

Thank you! We had considered releasing an ERC20 token however with the mass influx of ICO's and our passion for good home grown mining. We felt this was a better decision.

Also mining is still, as of now, an integral part of crypto!

I think it's better not to rush. The first thing we need to do is make sure the network is stable.
And fast exchange rarely leads to something good. Everything has its time Smiley

This is 100% something we are thinking about. Obviously we could easily just throw a coin up on YoBit and get things moving however we are constantly thinking about what our actions convey to the community. We are trying to create something that is MORE than just a coin.

What will be done with the unclaimed coins from the swap?

This is laid out in detail in the white paper, however the quick and dirty version is as follows 50% will be used for internal matters Development (15%) / Airdrops (15%) / paid marketing (10%) / bounties (10%)

The other 50% of the unclaimed coins will distributed throughout the community at the end of each year at a rate of 10% per airdrop until there is nothing left of the unclaimed coins.
