It's safe guy, almost wallets and mining softwares flag as virus. if you still doubt you can build from source for yourself!

If I have an old wallet.dat, should I use it with this new wallet, or should I used old wallet?

How do I go about accessing funds in my old wallet.dat?

Right now when I try to use it with the new wallet (v1.0.0.0) I get a message:

"Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think you need to use the old wallet for you old wallet.dat and then swap.

You need to load your old educoin v1 wallet.dat in the old educoin wallet. Once you have the old wallet and new v2 wallet synced up, you can use our website to swap the coins.

Unfortunatly, the mining pool adress seems down.

Instructions are not very clear and after solomining for a bit I did not see a single transaction in my wallet

Also, I'd advise to get the reddit going again. And you definitely have a lot of effort to do to convince people that it will not just end as the last EduCoin a couple years ago.

We totally agree. We are trying to figure out whats going on with the pools and why they are not finding shares. We are able to successfully solo-mine. I will send you a DM, we would love to have all the help we can get!
