Hey everyone,
Just trying to get an idea of the top purchased cryptocurrencies at the moment.
Not including (Bitcoin, Litecoin and ETH)
Any ideas?
Im going with omisego if i were you. Because the coin just clearly has great potential and i think everyone observing it can also say so. But i also have pther coins in mind. Which are enigma, verge, slvr, qtum and slvr which are pretty good coins too if you ask me, thinking of investing for some more but sadly i need to control myself bcoz im becoming a bit greedy lately.

I think check coinmarketcap is a good idea, the most famous coins are listed on this site and you can find the top bought alt coins in the first 100 coins such as Dash,Waves, Neo...

I recommend that you should research first before investing on alt-coin in order not to fail, You can see them on some exchange site and watch on how much is there volume and value. It is also good to invest on ICO's especially if it success because it can make you investment triple or more than times...

I suggest the bitcoin cash or BCH because the value trend is at average stable for weeks therefore it looks promising to considering the value for now is quit cheaper than bitcoin and ethereum. I say maybe next year it will be secondary to ethereum for sure. Lets be on board before it too late to this altcoin.

Can the TS kindly list SLVR too, they give real world implementation a chance to work, not just everything for the interweb.

I agree with you. SLVR should also be recognized by everyone and given proper credit. They got a really good platform. But still though, it depends on the developers if they actually go and make their promises reality(happen), then i cannot see why they would fail. They would surely be soaring high someday.

This is what I have for you. If you want to invest in ICO, I would recommend Litra as they have a unique concept and platform to bridge the gap between healthcare and blockchain. The community is awesome and they still have their ICO running.
If you wanna buy altcoins I would suggest-
Onions BuzzCoin EMB OHM NET
These are some of my top picks based on the returns and the growing community. Hope this helps you make some decision.

There are best altcoins to invest these days. So before buying do some research on what coins is worth to invest. Yes I agree with others coinmarketcap will give help for buying an altcoins. But in my lists are ethereum, waves, stratis, qtum and verge. Hodling could give me profit soon.

Off course the first choice would be monero, ripple and then currently fingers are crossed for social coins. Having good strategies with monero in long term investment. The coin is very stable in the growth and it is mined efficiently with gpu as well. So it's cheap coin practically and as investment fir term it's always been profit with ten to twenty percent of hike per month. Ripple as we al know being centralised they have unlimited supply of circulation which means the demand will be fulfilled always once the price is risen. The coins price can never be pumped by pampers due to its centralised nature and hence it is very stable. About social coin, it's in the ICO phase but looks good coin for future investment.

Coinmarketcap.com, click on 'Volumes'.
|
A distributed system attempts to access an API data source, but since the nodes need not execute the instructions simultaneously, the data provided by the API can yield different results. Hence you need to build some kind of time to API value lookup table; formally called oracle.

Did anyone get on the antshare train? most altcoins reached their all time highs in the past few weeks, until the problems with China started. My top picks for the last quarter are: lisks, waves, IOTA, steem, metal and vox. I may also purchase some sia coin, what makes sia great is that anyone can participate and get paid for leasing their spare storage space.

Volume is just volume, in reality it doesn't mean most "bought". Lot's of pnd'ing /fake volume.
Volume indicates trading. But yes, this could mean selling as well as buying. Most exchanges have fees - so the volume is not fake (it would get very expensive very fast to fake the volume).

Just met David Vorick, co-founder of Sia, at the Boston FinTech event. By what he told me, it seems like they are trying to upgrade storage space and file uploading fee in the next three months. Definitely a project to look out for.

How would we know that? Can we look at the growth, which is reflecting trust and therefore demand? Well, I think Waves is one coin that is also purchased by many traders as well as long term holders. And because many projects are also built on waves then perhaps more waves are being purchased.
