Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?
For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.
That would be a great idea. I would also like that to happen in the near future. Most people have already familiarized themselves about bitcoin, and it is very possible that sooner or later, companies will pay their employees through bitcoin. But I think, there will still a lot of things to be made clear about this idea, esp. that the value of bitcoin is so volatile that one day, its price might go up or down in a blink of an eye, and will affect the amount of money to be receive by the employees.

hell yeah and its super cool if we can recieve it as our salary and it will be just straight on our bitcoin wallets and we can also easiely convert it to our local curency if want to. but the downside is the bitcoins value is volatile and its not stable and our salary is not fix due to bitcoins price but overall i still want this if given a chance.

Depends, I will accept bitcoin if the amount is bigger than my salary in fiat. Actually accept bitcoin as your salary is also have a bad affect, i mean, the price of bitcoin is really unstable and if you receive your salary when the price of bitcoin going down, your salary also going down following the bitcoin price.

Right now, I am accepting the salary for my regular job in the form of fiat cash (Indian Rupee), and I want to continue with that system. If I accept the salary in the form of Bitcoins, then I will face trouble when I try to make the payment for rent and utility bills. Also, tax returns is another major issue. How can I show the income in BTC?

our income in BTC is still confidential and uncertain. if a company that will make a salary payment using BTC in my opinion is still not appropriate because of the volatile price / value movements so fast. will cause problems.

You can't show a reliable income when it comes to Bitcoin, unless you have had a really long time period where you have constant income coming from something like a signature campaign (as a quick peek in on your account specifically), or having some kind of other occupation which allows for you to have a relatively consistent income which you can prove. I always advocate using a combination of both fiat and Bitcoin work. No point burning bridges with people who you know will have some work for you in the event of Bitcoin collapsing. Nothing ever lasts forever and it is better to have options rather than limiting yourself just because one appears to make money.

If and when the time comes that bitcoin's price is stable, then I would not mind if my company pays my salary in the form of bitcoin. That might not happen real soon as we know that bitcoin is not yet that popular when it comes to big companies and they would surely have some apprehensions about using bitcoin as payment system for the salary of employees.

I am! Right now I am working as a freelance writer in cryptogrind and my employer pays in bitcoin. Volatility was never an issue because I only spend my bitcoins to pay bills and the rest were kept in a hard wallet. So far this is the easiest way to save money, at least for me. I guess the volatility will only be an issue if you are a spender or when you are paying monthly for the credit cards. That sucks though.

I would accept half of my salary in Bitcoin. Although volatility makes it risky, Bitcoin has historically demonstrated good long term performance, which means to say that if I did not convert this portion immediately after receiving the salary, I could see good results in the future.

I will not accept bitcoin as a salary from a regular job because it is volatile so the value of the bitcoin that i will get is not stable in fiat so i might get a high salary or a very low salary so i don't think that it is a good option for the companies to pay their employees using bitcoin and i will still prefer fiat since it has a fixed value.
Base in what you have said I think before it will be implemented worldwide that bitcoin will be used for paying employees I think they will set a certain range so that no matter what the amount currentpy pf the bitcoin it will not be affected as you say that bitcoin is volatile I think they will not do a certain step that may leadin ccircumstance this system.

Yes of course! I will definely accept it because we always had a choice to convert it into our local currency. It is still money afterall. The more bitcoin in my e-wallet, the better it is! I firmly believe that bitcoin will continue to rise in the coming years.

Nothing ever lasts forever and it is better to have options rather than limiting yourself just because one appears to make money. That would be a better opportunity for us yo have both fiat and bitcoin income. Making bitcoin as sources of income is a better way for living and having regular job as well can be also a sustainable one. Other bitcoiners quit their main job, but for me that's wrong because bitcoin income always changes and sometimes took for so long before you can appreciate the profit.

I will accept bitcoin as a salary. The reason for me is bitcoin creates many opportunities online while the banking system in my country has too many limitations. It sucks to hold your salary and eventually lost it in gambling. With bitcoin, I will be able to start something at least.

Yes, but I will only take it as a part-time job. We all know that its value is not fixed. It fluctuates everyday. What I want is a fixed value and can still increase. And that's the salary you get in full-time jobs. We all want sure money. It is so great to have a decent job along with earning bitcoins as a sideline.

I wish I could say that yes but unfortunately it is not possible for me due to certain laws. Firstly bitcoin is not legal yet in my country so if I say yes I will be opening gates to legal issues where I could be abandoned of such things that no one wants to face. The salary we earn is not only for the purpose to earn individually but also to contribute into your countries economy, taxes are deducted from the salary which mostly people get in local currency or in dollars. When there will be no tax submission from an individual and he buy any assets then the person will for sure be in a conflict.

I agree with this. Yeah we know the value of bitcoin is not stable it will drop or get high everytime. So it means your income is not stable too. But if your employee fixed your salary on a local currency well that's great. It is better to pay you in o a local currency than that. We don't know when or what will happen to crypto currency on the future.
