Currency is just a agreement made by the government that it will pay equivalent value if asked in gold, and also I don't think that everyone will trade their currency entirely just for the currency of another country even the US too, so this can't happen in real life and it's hard to achieve than just talking about it.

It is right to think about it that what will actually happen. A unified currency will never happen for fiat. It will always be different to each country or territory. The only type unified currency that may be a possibility is cryptocurrencies; such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. In my own opinion, if we only use a one currency i think the world will still be the same because only the currency has change. But i think it will be much better if we only have one currency because there will be less corruption in every country and there are no worries in exchanging your money.

In my own opinion, if we only use a one currency i think the world will still be the same because only the currency has change. But i think it will be much better if we only have one currency because there will be less corruption in every country and there are no worries in exchanging your money.

One currency will make us global village in true sense and many problems will be brought to end by this decision. The World Bank will be controlling the currency and corruptions like money laundering etc will no more be done. Yep there will be no need to go through hectic procedures of exchanging money bla bla.

Exactly. Too much power would be in the hands of a very few people so that won't be advisable for any society. Too much power causes corruption even for the most straight minded person.
