Hey,

Lot's of people from 4chan using the tool Loic with the channel thealps.anonops-irc.com #loic or the command 'sudo hping3 api.paypal.com -p 443 -S -i u3000 -q' have managed to take down all these sites!

This is illegal and wrong. I understand people have different views on Wikileaks but taking illegal action is not the correct path. Better to voice yourself through the correct legal channels and signing petitions.

Amazing how easy it is to get these tools:
http://encyclopediadramatica.com/LOIC#Download
it even runs in wine.

Hope the good boys (police) catch these criminal hackers soon.

Peace.

Oh cool, I didn't know about hping. I didn't feel like installing wine and .net framework to use loic but with hping I'll probably join in.

No. We do it the hardcore way, productions of goods and services meant to undermine the authority of the state.

Now that you're saying it, sounds more like a "DO IT!" then a "don't !".
Maybe this was the only legal way to ask for taking part.

I myself share your sentiments. In face, I am so angry at what's going on that I'm going to go to the links you provided, download LOIC, go through all the steps and fire meh layzer!

Why dont paypal, mastercard and visa publicly accept that they are directly owned by government ?

On what reason can they give to refuse payment to wikileaks ?

Obviously they dont want to get in trouble due to ferocity with  govts motive to hunt down wikileaks as their misdeed is exposed infront of their own public ..

Imagine how fucked people were before the internet. You would think you were the only not crazy person in the world if you were even able to figure government/church BS out at all. This time is different, watch out mother fuckers.

I think these saying are obsolete now ---

Truth alone triumphs .

Signing petitions doesn't achieve shit.

Most effictive thing to do is to stop doing business with Visa and Mastercard.

As for DDoS being wrong, I disagree. People are simply exploiting an inherent weakness of internet protocol, namely that you can send packets for free, creating a tragedy of the commons situation.  Same thing for spam. The more often this happens, there more motivation there will be to fix the internet. Bitcoin could even play a role in this.

It's a mob, but it's not criminal in my opinion. To quote critical mass, "we are not hindering traffic, we are traffic".

DDoS is illegal as it creates disturbance in normal functioning of a website .But protests on streets, strikes they also disrupt normal functioning of institutions .

I think DDoS is a new form of protest in the domain of internet.

I'm not to smart. Are people doing something besides requesting data from a server? I went to visa.com while it was down, am I a terr0rist yet?
