Mt Gox opens in less that 5 hours.  Has anyone gotten a "Recovery Success" email?

I "claimed" my account the first few hours it was available to do so.  I got the "We have received a recovery request for your account that pointed to this email. To verify this email and enter the recovery process, please use the link below." email (and I clicked on it's link and finished the process), but I have yet to receive a confirmation or other email from them.

When I click on the link now I get the same message as everyone else:

"Your account recovery request is pending review by our staff. Once your account has been reviewed you will be sent an email advising how to access your Mt.Gox account. We will begin sending out emails with instructions within the next 24 hours. If you do not receive the email after 48 hours (see above) please contact us so we can look into your claim request"

Anyone get anything more than this yet?

Thanks

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I haven't gotten anything from 'em, and none of the friends I've asked today (about an hour ago, asked four people) has either.

Nope. Pretty sure it'd be big news here if anyone had gotten one, I think it's safe to assume none have gone out.

Considering that they've blown through every previous target date/time I think it's pretty clear they won't be opening when they predicted.

Yeah, their mistake is announcing times they can't meet, not waiting. Waiting until it's right is vital.

no.

They need to be more honest about what they're doing and how long its goind to take, they're acting like school children holding off finishing a project. We need a proper fucking time frame and some clear and definitive information, what hes given us so far is practically cryptic considering the seriousness of the situation.

No, although I filled out my claim request in the first minutes the claim site was opened, I still haven't heard anything from them.

I agree -- they need a PR person to deal with the public.  Running MtGox in this fashion only directs anger at the owner at a personal level.

A PR person would, I think, give steady updates, and also include within the update when we can expect the next update.  And, of course, keep to it.

From Mt.Gox:

"Users with reclaimed accounts will be able to login to Mt.Gox on Friday June 24th at 3:00 GMT (12:00 JST). Once you are logged back into the Mt.Gox site you will be able to withdraw and deposit funds as per usual. You will not be able to trade initially, but we plan to activate trading within an hour of the site being up (4:00 GMT)"

3:00 GMT = 20:00 PDT (8pm) = 23:00 EDT (11pm), so 3 hours, 3 minutes from now.
