There have been a few times when I *thought* I was a gambling expert. It didn't take long for me to learn I wasn't as big of an expert as I had thought.    

Making big plays and winning a lot of money may also not be the most defining aspect of being an expert. Big wins could be correlated with big losses. Consistent wins could be more preferable.

I can make sure you , somebody who tell you that he/she is an expert as gambling that one 80% is a scumbag or scammer. It's right to say that gambling need stragedy, smart, skill but underdogs team can still win cause some unpredictable things are happen. No experts or anyone else can predict it will happen. Sometimes you can win with your lucky even without skill, smart and stragedy.

There is no expert in gambling. You are right about the three factors that matter in every game either you are a newbie or you call yourself an old gambler. Experts are there but that only in your mind, you are expert if you implement these three factors with wise and intellectual.

The term expert in gambling isn't so clear. At what conditions someone can be called as an expert? It will vary from person to person. Most people will refer to the end result of gambling activities to gain an expert level. Therefore, a person who able to win most of his games will be called expert. But the other people will refer to someone who able to control his emotion as an expert. I mean, people who able to avoid bad impact to their life caused by gambling habit can be considered as an expert in the world of gambling.

I neither think myself a gambling expert nor believe in anyone who claims they are expert in gambling or sports betting. Winning from gambling completely depends upon your luck and no any strategy can pull constant profit. Calling yourself expert in gambling can't be anything more than a over confidence....

Claiming that someone is a gambling expert is more than over confidence , it seems to be like complete stupidity to me since it is a field that no one can pretend to be an expert in . People might be over lucky , or have a strategy that is impeccable an that they worked on for a long time and that makes them win over 50% of their bets , but anything more than that is just lies and rumors .

i think im expert because i dont lose my money thats all i can do to rely only in free in the faucet,if you lose your money here i think its your fault because you do deposit in gambling theres a way with no risk money why you do deposit right?so better doing is not risk money thats all,you can say your expert in that

i do not think that one can become expert in gambling, because gambling is a game luck and specially in dice games and slot games where we totally depend on our luck, i think only those people cam become successful in gambling who have good luck. only in some format of gambling we can use our skill and experience but still even there we need to have a good luck, and therefore i do not think that one can claim that he is expert in gambling.

Defining it with the word expert, it means you are good with everything in gambling. It's your passion, your profession and even where you are getting your family to get all the things that they need. I'm not really interested in gambling, but I can feel it because many of my friends are experiencing things like this. when they win they usually continue to play gambling until they lose. this is a bad trait of addiction and I think there must be strong emotional control to avoid it. no experienced gamblers, only those who always get luck in every gambling game.

If you are not interested in gambling, you are a smart person in my view. Gambling is not a good game honestly. The gamblers keep on wasting their time whether they are fun seeker or profit seeker. Most of them continue the game after winning and eventually lose their winnings again.

It is difficult to resist gambling once someone gets involved because it offers two main things of life; fun and money. That is why gamblers have no control over their actions.

Right nobody can claim to win hundred percent of the time, especially not those players who are involved in dice, slots or roulette. I have just seen poker experts in my life and not many of them are actually expert. Mostly people like to boost about one or two overwhelming incidents. Even the real ones cannot win hundred percent of the time because no one can master luck.

In every event there are experts, but for the same we can't consider that they have a cent percent winning. Here the winning probability vary with regards to the luck, however accurate the strategies were made. I too have the thinking of making big win, but I know the reality and just because of the same used to stay within limits. When it comes to sports betting additional winning chances were available.

No i'm not as even if i win big i will treat it as a lucky play, of course i feel happy when i have a big win. I never assume i am an expert, i am just a casual gambler. i think people that play poker is more expert in my opinion.

You hit the nail on the head on that one. Be happy that you got lucky and don't get cocky.. Things can escalate extremely quickly if you do (I know, I've been there). Also I definitely agree with you that poker players are probably the only ones in gambling that can label themselves as experts. At least the top tier of the poker players.

If you are talking about being expert in playing different games then I can say I am far from it, but if we talk about expert in controlling oneself during the session og playing games, I can say I am.  Since I never let myself to be carried away no matter how big my winnings it.  I always quit when I am at the winning streak which result in me getting profit from winning.  Though it is not as big as other players winning, at least  I have a positive result so far.

A person could only be a gambling expert if he is lucky enough to win on a repeated basis. Being lucky is not something that requires skills or so therefore I don’t think that gambling has some kind of relation with the expertise of a person.

I appreciate your point of view of being expert. According to your opinion, the best thing is to have proper control over your greed for money .it is right to some extent because the more you have self control the lesser you lose.

I would rather consider myself as a noob in gambling than consider my self as an expert. I will let the others observe how I play and let them judge me if I am an expert based on their observation. Its like me being conceited as I say I can do this and that or I am better than you or him. I would let my actions speak for what I am.

No one could declare himself as a gambling expert indeed. Because being an expert in this field means that you would never face any sort of loss. This is quite impossible so gambling expert in my view is nothing more than a simple term. One could merely call himself as an expert if he has been through all the stages facing losses and wins.
