Many people think they are without really being and this is a very bad thing. These people have in common being arrogant and saying that they know what they are doing but the fact is that after a very short time you will see them losing everything.

I am not an expert gambler, just a casual one but from what I see here is that we have yet to find a true expert. So far I have only seen experts in Poker Tv series in real life.

Yes, you are right, but I think other gambling games will not depend on the luck only. Like for example, in the sports betting, if someone knows about the team or the player and he knows almost everything about that sport, I think he can become an expert in the sports betting, and it's part of gambling games. But all in all, I agree with you that gambling is about luck.

Why just with poker gambling. I believe anyone can be an expert and professional with any type of gambling whereas he does not need to make profits all the times but just preventing losses is also more than enough to call themselves as an expert and professional.

Because, when making profits with a gambling is truly dependent on your luck factor then you cannot be having it as a measurement for your experience and being professional. Just managing things efficiently will be the more than enough factor to consider one gambler is an expert and professional.

Ever since we know that gambling don't really give a profit for most of the gamblers, these experts might be someone we should be able to ask or consult if we ever have a question about the rules of the game. Even these gamblers that we might call expert don't really win that well, there might be some that is but I don't think all of them can be the same.

That must be right. We cannot have an expert in gambling who will be making profits all the times. Because luck is not favoring one gambler all the times and even an expert in gambling could not make profits all the times. If you measure an expert in terms of profit making capabilities then they will not remain as expert all the times. The obvious reason is, their luck factor may not staying with them all the times.

I believe being professional and being expert in trading is something different from each other. Because, a professional will do things in better way whereas an expert will find better results out of it. I'm just talking in general not exactly with respect to gambling.

You are wrong for one case, experience and knowledge are absolutely needed for some type of gambling such as sportsbetting and poker. With no experiences and knowledge on such games will be very bad for you. Even on pure luck based game such as dice, experience is also needed especially to manage your emotion and greed.

Well yeah i play poker a lot and my feeling its always right but somehow unpredictable thing possibly happen too . so any gambling its pure luck and feeling of experience . now im gambling just for fun and spend some time to increase adrenaline . well i ever win over $12k and also lose a lot too . now im just spend my sallary to spend on my real bussiness and some penny to gambling for fun .

Yeah, there is no gambling expert I think because this is just a game of luck. You might be master how to play one game, but considering yourself as an expert is quiet risky not unless you make millions of money and you just lose thousands everyday. I will never become an gambling expert because I don't gamble much and I don't focus on doing this thing because I'm afraid to lose big money in gambling.

i studied probability, data analysis and statistics for a few years in college.    If I was to be this arrogant to consider myself an expert, it would have to come from that base of knowledge going back to the work of Pascal hundreds of years ago.

The euphoria of a win, sure its good to have but unless I'm fall down drunk at that point I hopefully will not kid myself that the win has reinforced my abilities to shape changes I have not even estimated especially.    But hey, the feelings are why people play so why cant I have both.  I'd never bet large just having fun like that though, I dont know how gambling experts manage it but I'm not sure they risk a smile too often

I am more comfortable saying that there is no expert in gambling, even though you make big profits in gambling, you can just lose after that, there is no guarantee that you can continue to profit, can the expert guarantee you to have greater profitability?

I feel better to say I am not a gambling expert, I only ordinary person who want to enjoy the games inside gambling and I don't want to lose much money. It's too risky to spend more money on gambling because I know I cannot win back my losses or win the games with huge money. But if I can earn money, I only think that is only part of the entertain, and I never think much about gambling.
