Hi! Love your page, especially for being the only one I know with Bid/ask ratios besides blockchained.com, which has become useless since it only references MtGox.

What I love especially about blockchained.com was the Bid and ask sums charts. Could you add the option to see "Bid sum" and "Ask sum" separately, in addition to the ratio we already enjoy? I can only see it (that I know of) in cryptocoincharts.info (Whole Bid Volume) but with no option to display its history, much less in a chart. Thanks!

Hey,
Thanks for the feedback Smiley
Unfortunately, I didn't store Bids and Asks sum from the beginning, I only kept the ratio (silly, silly me). I'll try to come up with a solution to integrate them separately.
Cheers !

EDIT : necessary changes applied to the backend ; Bids and Asks sum will be shown by the end of the month Smiley

All right, it took less time to develop than expected, here comes a nice little update :

  • extended support of multiple currencies (USD, EUR, CNY)
  • added the display of bids and asks sum
  • added Kraken EUR exchange (replacing kraken USD)
  • fixed relative volume
  • optimized data processing of multiple exchanges

Hello everyone,

Here comes the major update I've been working on for about four months.
The idea is to turn Coinorama into a complete Bitcoin monitoring tool with markets and network activity tracking.
Last but not least, the website also offers a blockchain browser with a windowed interface.

Regarding markets, new exchanges have been added : ANX and Bitcoin-Central.
More will be added in the near future, and I also hope to raise the limit of four exchanges in multi and average mode.
The layout has been slightly reworked so that small charts expand nicely, and I tried to made as responsive as possible.

Please let me know if you find any bug or have any suggestion.
Thank you for your support Smiley

Looks great! Really love the clean new design.

Not sure yet what the additional functions (e.g. "network activity tracking") are useful for, but I'll find out :)

Tip on the way, by the way.

Not sure which Bitcoin wallet you should use? Get Electrum!
Electrum is an open-source lightweight client: fast, user friendly, and 100% secure.
Download the source or executables for Windows/OSX/Linux/Android from, and only from, the official Electrum homepage.

Thank you very much for your support !
The network view is quite minimal at the moment, I hope to improve it soon Smiley
In the mean time, I plan to push a set of minor fixes next week-end.
Cheers !

Hi,

Quick status update after a small upgrade :
 * Bitfinex and Huobi  exchanges are now available
 * Disabled USD conversion when showing exchanges using the same currency
 * Minor reliability fix for slow connections

In the coming weeks, I'll probably try to focus on the blockchain browser.

Cheers !

Hey, I am currently playing with arbor.js [ http://arborjs.org/ ], a neat graph visualization library.
I just added a new feature based on it. You're now able to graph transactions and addresses : http://www.coinorama.net/blockchain

Open any address, block or transaction and you'll see a button to open the graph window. If some of you are interested in blockchain forensics, have a look and tell me what you think :-)

thanks for not adding hitandrunbtc.com Grin

It is like the wild west in the movies, like russia in the 90ies.
It´s you, revolutionaries, scamers, gangsters, genuises, greedy soon-to-be loosers, billionares, and  big business at a global private party. It is bitcoin. http://nakamotoinstitute.org/mempool/dont-panic/

Hello,
The addition of hitbtc to Coinorama is ready.
It hasn't been enabled just yet though, as I'd like to learn a little more about them first.
Have a nice day !

Hi,

Here is the second round of new exchanges :
* HitBTC : USD and EUR
* Vault of Satoshi : CAD
* CaVirtex : CAD
* Bit2c : ILS

Markets charts colors have been adapted to improved readability.
Multiple exchanges mode now allows the display of up to five exchanges (this limit will be progressively increased).

Hava a nice week !

I love this site, but why the awful color scheme change awhile back? Red and Green is much better than Yellow and Darker Yellow. Its not enough contrast.

Any way to make it a setting? Colorful vs Bland color scheme?

Hey, thanks for the feedback !
I'll try to add something to enable different color schemes ; that shouldn't be much work, but I have plenty other stuff cooking  Wink

Hi everybody,

I just pushed a new version of the website, here is what's new :

  • mining pools share is now tracked, thanks to mempool.info
  • new USD exchange : lakebtc
  • new CNY exchange : OkCoin
  • new LTC exchanges : btce and kraken
  • added an option to select the colors theme (requested by derpinheimer)
  • bitcoin-central renamed to paymium
  • single exchange mode now defaults to candlesticks display

LTC exchanges display is experimental, the idea is to support altcoins just like any other currency.
There were many changes behind the scenes as well, paving the way for forthcoming features.

Please let me know if you find any bug or have any suggestion !

Thank you for your support Smiley

Awesome! I was initially confused and then very happy when I went on my phone at work-er, break - and could see which was bid/ask without squinting Smiley

Hi,

Here comes an update of the markets user interface.
This is a major rewrite which enables to select which charts you want to display. Hopefully, I didn't break anything.
Additional changes are too many to be listed completely, but I have to mention : legends moved out of charts, new charts (nb. of trades and average trade size) and EMAs added to single 'mode'.

Don't forget to reload the page twice in order to flush your browser's cache.

Cheers !
