One thing about Flixxo's setup is that it is sort of a "everyone wins" scenario, when you look at ways users can earn flixxo tokens, while at the same time advertisers get viewers. It's a nice, open and transparent platform, something we can't say about YouTube at all.

Outside of content and and userbase, what are somethings from YouTube that would be great on Flixxo?

Indeed, I wonder if youtube will start to feel the pressure and do something about the current model.
Well, personally, I think one of the great things on youtube is the ability to live stream, will be great to see it on Flixxo.

I think Flixxo will have live streaming feature in future. flixxo first has to get used by people, it's still early to say that youtube and flixxo have any competition yet, youtube will feel the pressure when flixxo has 20% or higher user base of youtube.

I thought as much, what I am having a hard time wrapping my head around though, is, if all videos were purchased through the servers flixxo set up, I see no problems, but, when someone else seeds a video, how are balances kept track of?

It will be done on a centralised manner. And truth to be said, that's the most complicated part to move on to chain!
