Can anyone please tell me how to solve this?

Just started trying to mine.

Guides says that im suppose to select my GPU for device, yet im only able to select my CPU.

I'm on a ATI 7850 btw, got the latest drivers installed and the SDK too.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Its the Pitcairn usually it wont specify a particular name, on mine it simply says tahiti

This guy has it.  If you are wondering why, pitcairn is the codename for the 78xx GPUs by AMD.

edit: started it , but im getting 5-10 khash/sec , isnt that too low for my 7850??

Is there some settings im missing?

That is too low post your settings. Make sure intensity is high 16+
