with this hardware:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antminer-L3-IN-HAND-Bitmain-Used-504-MH-s-Scrypt-Litecoin/173085494082?hash=item284cb30b42%3Ag%3A3cEAAOSwOYFaUvrD

I will get 800 coppercoins ? per day ? I think more about 22 000 coppercoins per day per this machine. How do you calculate this ? My calculation come from an expert in mining ethereum and other coins, he is Asian and know very well this industry.

800 coppercoins would worth 5 to 10 dollars per day with a 4000$USD machine. that makes no senses. its more 22 000 coppercoins making around 220$ per day. it's more logic.

you cannot mine with normal CPU you need ASIC machines worth 4000$.

on another note:

Bitcoin will never be in a bubble just because of Miners out there..it's like real estate investment: the snow ball rolling becoming bigger and bigger.

my advice:

go to facebook subscribe on some facebook groups about coins mining and ask them theirs advice you will discover the real hardware that you must have. in order to really compete with others and make great profits.

you see this machine here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antminer-L3-IN-HAND-Bitmain-Used-504-MH-s-Scrypt-Litecoin/173085494082?hash=item284cb30b42%3Ag%3A3cEAAOSwOYFaUvrD

is making: 504 MH/s

if we compare to workers in the http://eu01.coppercoin.net/workers

CVcAcyJiS64h7nDNNcBD74g6hgeZ1w53TU   1966080   0   100%   429.50 MH

about 1 966 080 shares for 429.50 MH

now you can see more about how many shares you can get with this machine at this price 4000$USD. However I dont know how much time it takes to get 1 million shares.

Wallet doe snot stake for me either. Mining with 3-ish at the official pool gives me about a coin a day at the current rate...and I mined at steeppool before, still waiting on my payout from there...

Staking has not been activated yet. Mining will finish first if I understood it right.

Found this Coppercoin when looking at what my L3+ dug up while working for Zpool. With the low difficulty, thought I'd run over and mine directly for awhile to see what happens.

Can someone help to educate me on something... I'm 6-7 months into mining now, still learning by the day...

One the Coppercoin pool site:  http://us01.coppercoin.net/getting_started   --- they list different ports for different difficulties. I'm assuming this is some kind of pool level difficulty setting? More powerful machines should be set to higher difficulty rates? How to know which is the most efficient for the hardware you have?

Port: 3008, Diff: 8 Port: 3032, Diff: 32 Port: 3256, Diff: 256 Port: 3257, Diff: 8192 Port: 3258, Diff: 131072

Thanks in advance... always learning.

what is the current circulating supply of this coin? Hard to figure out what's going on since it is not on coinmarketcap.

The idea is to find a balance between finding and requesting blocks. If your machine is requesting blocks too frequently, it will spend more time sending and receiving and less time mining. If your machine is spending too long mining and getting a lot of rejections, it is because others are beating you to results.

So start in the middle since you have an L3+ and let it run for 24hrs, then move up one level and see what the results look like and then make a decision to stay, go back down or try another increase. Rinse, repeat Smiley

Tips welcome. CopperCoin: CMTE8FqB9N89jV4QgTeXvUm3WftAVu9FBU

static const int LAST_POW_BLOCK = 1000000;

The very last POW block to be mined.

I still need to dig around in the code to find where POS fires off at about what block.

Anyone got some ideas on what we could do to help move this coin along? Give it some utility? Host some more nodes? Rub its back?

For some reason it has been in the back of my mind that ...
Metal Recyclers could/should/optionally issue CopperCoins (instead of fiat?) when someone brings in copper for recycling Huh

Anyone out there have a 'IN' with any company that does recycling ? Would it be that hard to convince such a company to 'buy low, sell high = profit'
