I have sold my BTG just few hours ago on $410 and I already regret that decision, I guess I've got too exciting.
Should I buy it back till the price is aroung $400, or maybe wait a day or two?
What would you do if you were me? I don't wanna miss a great chance here!

How did you recover your BTG? Did you have a "3" address from Electrum?

I think you can't split coins from a segwit address. not easily at least

....yeah and do you know how I go about doing this?

i don't know but a bunch of people are having the same problem, same with multisig addresses

I just imported my private key into a new electrum wallet and now I have a "1" address... however, when I try to locate this "1" address on a bitcoin gold explorer, I don't see the BTG balance. However, when I go back and view my previous address that began with a "3", I can see the BTG balance... not sure what I do....

Same issues here. Seems the devs arent interested. Coin is destined to fail.

doesnt bcash have the same issue?

At least it does not have a completely stolen infrastructure like Bitcoin Cash. I think Bitcoin Gold has a more original structure than Bitcoin Cash. But I also can not trust the team of Bitcoin Gold.

I almost bought 10 BTG when it was $130, decided to wait until the next day and the value had doubled. Man, I seem to have bad timing a lot!

but I see BTG is already listing in etherdelta, then why you need a wallet again. why do not you sell this time only if you are afraid of trouble in the coin.

Good one. But joke aside, this table does imply that BitCore is the best version of Bitcoin right? Thats the one that is trading at around 30USD now and was airdropped in some sort to holders or bitcointalk forum members if I remember correctly. What makes this fork superior? The different mining algorhytm or the blocksize?

If you held btc on nov 2 you can get btx 1:0.5, so 100 bitcoin would give you 50 bitcore.
If you register your bitcore address by signing a message (the one that holds your balance) on bitcore.cc you will get 3% of your btx balance on monday's.

In december this will move to 4% of your btx balance, until the rest of the coins are totally distributed amongst the holders. It has never been airdropped like for free no.
So you either get your btx from the bitcoin snapshot, from mining btx (same rewards as bitcoin) or from buying, and then you can opt for weekly airdrop if you register your address.

They have created their own algorithm (time travel/ asic resistant) , btx scales better, huge number of tx possible, and fastest out there.
Hitbtc will be the first exchange to distribute bitcore to their users soon.

Thanks for this clarifications, appreciate it. So what is your stand on this? Is it better than BTC? I mean there are a lot of cryptos that scale better than BTC, but they wont overcome it eighter. So why should BitCore?

This is NOT BTG! BitcoinGold is a fork of Bitcoin and can never trade on EtherDelta, because ED is a decentralized exchange that runs through the Ethereum network, so only Ethereum based tokens are tradable there. I dont know which ethereum token is called BTG, but its certainly not the BitcoinGold forked coin.

the BTG price is now high and it leads to bittrex and many investors are already investing in the stocks as I think it's a lot of money in this coin as others think that the price will increase as well as bitcoin as the distance this coin is in bitcoin and I have not got too much idea about BTG.

I haven't been able to extract my BTG yet. Coinomi is Android-only. Freewallet works on IOS, but it seems like there is no way to sweep private keys. You can only generate addresses and send/receive from there.

Anyone have another way?

At $382.15 for 1 BTG, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that price..

Mainly, because I can't even find some GPU miners to verify it even makes you any money ..mining with a GPU

just saying, some feedback that a GPU miner is making 'bank' on this would be helpful on my confusion.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

So does that 'kick-ass' for what you want a GPU rig to do? or just meh!

curious (I only have 'evil' ASIC's from your point of view)

I think with 4200sol/s which is quite the same hashrate as my 2 rigs: 6x1070 + 6x1060 doin, 0.06 BTG is somehow not much as I expected, I think it should be 0.08-0.1 BTG.

With current BTG value, it better than anything else.

My rig is 6x1080ti msi gaming x 11gb and yeah I expected more, but I think that there's a problem with suprnova, that are not able to show active workers in dashboard and bunch of other stuff..

Hi

Could you help me or give me advices ? i'd like to start mining BTG but i've never done that before.
What do i need? do i need a good computer ? i have an Imac so not sure if it can works on it.
I've read that for mining bitcoin you'd need a really good computer and put it in the garage , with a GPU rig

Thank you for your time
