Well, too many things gone wrong way..
I just shut it down my BTG node.
I cannot afford running such a controversial (sent 0.40 claimed BTG into nil, and it was the non-controversial version) piece of SW, made by an unknown developer, unsigned on top of that.
One node less for BTG. Sorry.
Switch your behaviour BTG guys (and give me back that sum) and I'll be able to switch mine. All that simple.

Can't wait for this to hit Polo so I can dump my BTG, not really sure what this fork was about other than a cash grab.

Well yeah, btg is another free cash for us and we can expect more free cash for the upcoming forks this December. I already got my btg from my coinomi wallet and I sold the half of it and bought some eth when I sold it when it pumped. And I'm planning to hold the half of it in case things turn out unexpectedly so I don't miss anything.

I am still waiting for Poloniex to add this coin, not sure they will without the security of a wallet that they can trust.

Do you have information on the forks on bitcoin? If it's not difficult to send me private messages

Long answer:
1)install MalwareBytes latest version.

2)Download current official BTG QT wallet for Windows and check SHA256 checksum

3)Run the installer, give a Yes to Security Prompt, wait for a GUI to appear and leave it in that state

4)Open MalwareBytes and tell it to do a scan

to answer my own post from a few days ago,

today there was an announcement from BitFlyer that they delayed the credit of BTG balances to customers, and the start of BTG trading because of security concerns (malware in BTG wallet etc...)

but they are still committed to do this in the near future

This is a very problematic coin. I'm afraid to buy it, even in order to immediately sell it. There is no guarantee that I will not be stolen. Maybe in a few months the project will start working normally

thanks for the information.
I think the BTG team has solved this problem.
I will continue to save my BTG until the price has increased significantly like a BCH.

The growth trend can be fictitious. Those who created this coin specially raise the price and create the appearance that this coin is becoming popular. I do not believe in this coin and will not invest in it

e Bitcoin Gold (BTG) fork snapshot happened on block 491,407 and we are now monitoring the developments of the development team. The mainnet was launched on November 12th, and you can now claim BTG. However, Exodus does not plan to support BTG so you will have to export your private keys manually to access your Bitcoin Gold.

An important thing to understand is the Bitcoin Gold fork is not the Segwit2x fork of the Bitcoin Network, which was scheduled to go live in mid-November, but was canceled in lack of consensus in the Bitcoin community. Bitcoin Gold is a clone of the main Bitcoin blockchain that will result in a 1:1 split of your Bitcoin funds, so if you have 1 Bitcoin you will receive 1 Bitcoin Gold.
