Bitcoin Gold still being on CMC's top 30 is a demonstration that many cryptos are there only for speculative reasons. While other super useful projects are still on the 200-300th place.

I think that 2018 is well launched to be a "crypto purification year". Survival of the fittest only the strongest 'll survive
And I'm convinced the strongest will moon even more.

Seriously, how long will it continue and how dip it can go? Is there anything ineresting in roadmap that was already realized?

I feel pessimistic with this coin. imho this coin will be hard to go up.

To be honest, i can follow the previous bitcoin cash fork easily. But for this bitcoin gold, it is not easy to find out when is the finalised time for the snapshot to be taken and is there any replay protection implemented. What i am more worry about is the replay protection.

Read that Xapo awarded account holders with the amount of Bitcoin Gold equal to the amount of BTC in that account as of the day of the fork. (Xapo then gave the option of either exchanging your BTG for BTC, or sending your BTG elsewhere).

Bittrex give BTG after fork. And any can trade BTG since. Nothing problem. Is XAPO gives BTG now only? Or you write it now only?

My view is that the project is not really adequate due to poor use of strategic alliances. I would not put my house on it and you should not either.

as my opinion on this topic, I would like to quote Udi Wertheimer, who studies the technology of blockade. he said that the BTG chain does not yet exist, but in futures markets, BTG is estimated at about 2% of the current BTC price. Usually with hardcodes such as BitcoinGold, I expect that the chain will continue to separate further, as long as it remains profitable. It seems to me that, part of the Bitcoin Cash community has made a profit due to its activity, and Bitcoin Gold hopes to succeed by attracting commercial partners.

Investment in BTG was my one of the worst decision. Bought it at a rate of around 250$. It went around 400 few times, but didnt sell. Now it ate all my money i invested on it

It still may go up, you know. Replace BTG with BTC and you would be reading "I bought some at 12k, then it went up to 20k a few times, now it is at 8k". I believe all crypto will go up when the moment is ripe. Which may be in a few months... or not.
