WHY NOT ALLOW MEN TO MARRY MORE THAN ONE WIFE LIKE MUSLIMS DO

Because muslim brothers are rich they can afford alot of women in the society. but in other religion its a big NO No in their community, its not elligible to marry alot of women in the community. i'm a Catholic it's a sin if we do that thing

Since there are roughly 1,000 women for every 1,000 men in this world, I am not going to support either polygamy or polyandry. If it happens, then a lot of the individuals will be forced to remain unmarried (not that it is a bad thing). The ideal thing will be to make the condition that an individual will have to divorce his spouse if he want to marry another individual.

Dude, all women have a tad bit of crazy in them. They are the oldest teenager in the room. I have enough on my hands with my current girl, much less having 5 or more. No thank you, lol.

It's hard enough to please and handle one wife and yet some ask for more. I think the logical explanation here is faithfulness of one partner is to one and only one partner. It's not true love if you have to share your love to multiple partners. Marriage is a consumation of love and dividing your love in multiple wives is not love at all but a burden

Quite true. First of all, all your partners should agree with the set up, if one of them said no then the whole point of it is nill. Next, you and your multiple partners should be able to sustain each other, not just financially but also time, affection. Most importantly, each should have equal respect for each other.

I myself am a man but i really don’t like that plan of yours. Women wants their husband to be loyal only to them and not anybody else. If you really want to be married with a lot of women then convert into a muslim then live your dream.

I think the government have done a right thing when they dont allow men marry more than one wife because if a men want to marry more wife, first he have to prove he have the power and money to take care for all wifes not just one.

Allowed if you can be pair to other wife, and of course the first wife must be approve  to your marriage the second wife. And i think it would be very hard to do.

Having a one to one relationship with an opposite sex can be most fulfilling for most.
A life long partner with whom you share everything.
If a man marries two or a woman marries two, they need to divide their attention to two partners which would obviously create emotional gaps in ones life.

When I read such question, I can only ask: What is next?
Why not to allow one woman to marry more men?
Why not to allow child, 3,4,5 years old to marry someone?
Why not to allow man to marry pet?
Does anyone understand how crazy this is?
Do we need, in the name of human freedoms and rights, absolutely allow and fulfill every wish?
I don't think so.
If we continue in such way, we will create only chaos and destruction of normal society.

If this would be allowed then all men would be womenizers that would marry women not because they love them but because they can marry women more. Women would be the victim if this would really happen.

If you are poor you cant afford to marry more than 1 women. If you are rich you dont have time for 1 and rich people always marry women of their status and no women will wish to marry a man who is already married.
If you want to have sex with 5-6 more women then there are many ways for it you dont need to marry them. Marrying a women is not of any benefit they are just like parasites who will eat your earning use your property... and population is already on rise you dont have to use this method to give a bump to it

The problem to marrying more than one wife is equality, women would never agree to be accompanied by only one man, of course they too would want to have many husbands, ironic as it is, there are women who have different perspectives on having a husband/s, they too would want to have their own decisions on how many husbands they would like. So in the end having this idea isn't good because of Equality.

Sometimes we are asking ourselves why is that so? But if we are going to attend in wedding we can hear the promises of the husband and wife about their vow of loyalty of each other. And we as a christian marrying more than one women is a sin in the eyes of God, maybe our belief as a christian is different in the belief of muslim.
