That is correct bitcoin is always the best as an investment as in long term it will always benefit you but there are also some good altcoins like ETH, ETC, XMR which cannot be ignored to make good profits.

Bitcoin is the most preferred by almost 100% of the population who are in cryptoworld since at the very beginning this coin is flexible and most adopted but I'm so worried right now since the ETH cap is going down and the billion is now gone and it turnes to millions maybe it was been hit badly by the ICO banning since ETH is I think in worst situation right now.

Bitcoin is not best as you say right now, you can see the fact that a lot of people are trying to buy the anonymous coin such as monero and how the charts already increased everytime and anytime.
A lot of disaster for crypto and they are want to stay anonymous.

anonymous altcoins will always remain a currency to be used for illegal activities in the dark web and not much else in other places in real world and that is fine.

plus there will be nothing wrong with bitcoin, and there is nothing coming. it will remain the same and continue being adopted and grow.

of course trading is different. anon coins might see a pump if a hype really takes place and then fall down like always.

Lots wrong with Bitcoin. Too slow and traceable. Also less price upside.

I think those traders / investors / merchants that moved into Dash, may have other reasons besides just having transaction privacy.

I don't think people will 'move' to anonymous but it can be interesting for some investment. People are always looking for a coin or type of coin to "overthrow" bitcoin but it's not gonna happen...

I do not think moving to an anonymous coin like monero or doing your crypto business behind the scene solves the current problem...we need a lasting solution and lets nott forget we cant run away from bitcoin which has the biggest community and widelt accepted cryptocurrency. Before people go on with panic selling these new regulations the chinese are putting up are mearnt to protect investors and the fiat community and not putting barriers

That is a good point. In some countries privacy is much harder to find than in others so some countries might prefer the private coins more than others.

True, Bitcoin is first and foremost.
It could be, if the value of anonymous coin prices is high, they could just move to anonymous coins on the pretext of value, just as we do, we take an example: One day we want to sell gold, then we go to some gold shops. I'm sure, some of these gold shops give different prices. which gold store that gives a higher price, that's where we sell.

I don't think so, since anonymous cryptocurrencies would not prevent exchanges from being shut down.

What would gain more adoption would be an anonymous, decentralized exchange.

From what I understand XMR is hands down best privacy coin. Can anyone dispute this with facts to back up argument?
