I may give that p2pool a try (and carefully follow their setup instructions to do so), thx. Hope it's a better experience than whatever was going on with solo mining.

(And I'm confused by other posts here which seem to report only a good experience solo mining = few rejects. What different variables were in play that gave them those good results? Or am I misreading or misremembering? . . . )

What is your config for your miner.

Sorry I missed this query, and thanks, but I'm not mining this at the moment, and if/when I do again (we'll see), I'll post my config. I see you listed a lot of addnode entries here recently; I'll try those if it comes to it . . .

I've also got 9 connections on the daemon, so I don't think it's dead just yet. Is the only exchange the MEM/LTC Cryptsy exchange?

For those interested I'm running a small pool:

http://ctompo.dyndns.org/memmine/public

I don't post much here but go by Tommo_Aus on http://forums.overclockers.com.au (OCAU Forums) for those interested.

0% fee, close to 100% uptime, latest client, all working well. I've also got 4 KH/s of my miners directed to it.

I also have a GLD and FLO pool, see the list of pools on the left side of the above link.

Tompool - http://tompool.org - a 2% fee SHA256/Scrypt/BURST/Groestl multipool supporting ANC, ASC, DGC, EZC, FLO, GLD, GME, MNC, RYC, TGC, TRC, XNC, ZET & more

FYI I moved my pools wallet overnight and for some reason my pools cron jobs are having trouble communicating with the wallet. I'm sorting things out now and will report back when its fixed Smiley

For those interested all the error information I have at the moment is:

XML-RPC: xmlrpcmsg::parseResponseHeaders: HTTP error, got response: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught BitcoinClientException:
  • : Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error)

  thrown in  on line 0

Its happening for other wallets I've migrated so must be a setting I've missed.

Good news, I've fixed the pools!

For those interested, when I migrated the pool wallets to another server I started a new wallet. Turns out mmcfe needs to query the wallet for information on found blocks, and the wallet needs to be the one where the block was credited. Seeing as the new wallet doesn't have this block information it failed to find it, and got stuck.

Solution was to redirect the cron jobs to the old wallet for one run then switch back to the new wallet. All good, shares and coins have been credited/paid out Smiley

memecoin was one of the original first clones. It always has the chain problem on which I am working a permanent solution.
