How soon can we REALISTICALLY see $4200 again and upwards?

Even though long term I see bitcoin growing, using ALL savings is too risky.
hmm it’s true the progress of bitcoins but we should also not deny that some time people came with some sought of emergency and at that time if that specific individual haven’t any asserts so it would be quite difficult for him so that’s why every step in the world of bitcoins should be intellectually so that why we should not take the risk of converting all of asserts to bitcoins
I think you are scaring the little boy even more. To be very honest, he made the right move. His grandmother is not going to lose any penny. All she needs is to be a little more patient. Bitcoin is suffering through hard time but this has also happened in the past. So no worries and be a real bitcoiner.

Regardless of what anyone says, the money is your grandmother's money so if she bought Bitcoin with it, it was her decision to do so. Nobody can guarantee anything regarding Bitcoin's price.

Well thats true people should not invest so much money without concrete and a well plan strategy if you are not surely can gain the expected or maybe higher amount from the money you invest. Dont give such money if you cannot afford to lose it.
That’s the right thing and that’s the smartest way to earn money is earn faster and bitcoin is giving opportunities to its investors and if you are investing for the long time than it is best and it will give you shower are profit one after another so I think this guy did the most righteous thing.

After looking at the timing in which this post was made and now, I realised it was just about 15 days interval in which a lot of things have happened and I think the most important thing we investors in bitcoin lack is patience because I don't think there is any investment one can do outside the crypto industry and expect it to turn out to be massive in a matter of days and not even years. I am sure if your Grandma would wait for a minimum of six months, she would be glorious for this kind of advice that was offered to her.

Are you trolling? LOL

Fortunately for you (and your grandma), the bloodshed seems to halt for the moment! Always invest in what you can afford to lose only, definitely not yours or someone else life saving.
You did the right thing to save that cash for the near future when bitcoin will be declared as the global currency and will huge profit to the investor, it was one of the best choice you have made and you will never regret about it now just stay update to the market and sell on the highest point index so that you will secure more.

You have persuaded your grandmother to invest her money into one of the most volatile markets there is. I don't know if i should laugh or cry.

Believing what people here say is plain stupid. Why do you think that you can believe anything that anyone says here? Anyone can create an account and write whatever they want without any consequences. This being said, this does not imply that there are no valid opinions and true statements. You have to understand one thing: everybody here is saying what they think as a personal opinion. It's always like that. You should read the book The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. It will open your eyes.

As for your options, you have two:
1. sell to minimize loss.
2. hold until price surpasses what you bought for.

My suggestion is - don't sell until price is above what you have bought. No one can tell you when this will happen. There is a slight possibility that this might never happen. So you have to gamble. But you have already gambled when you invested granny's money so, best of luck to you.

And here you go. Problem solved. Bitcoin is above 4200$ again. In this case you were lucky, hopefully you've learned your lesson. Just for the info - what do you plan to do now? Now you have a choice: you can return granny's money to usd and be thankful that everything ended up ok, or you can choose to be greedy and await further increase. What will you do?
Yes we need to tells her how bitcoin is here for her and what will be advantages for her lifesaving when she heard I think she will be very happy we know all our grandma are feels good when she save something and in return she take it safely with something more like this bitcoin is exists.

Why would anyone do what other people say is beyond my understanding. Just because they said it will only go up doesn't mean it won't go down. This is bitcoin we're talking about and there can never be any guarantee that it will go up and never down. You should've learn and understand more before doing anything rather than blaming someone else for their words.

my father (80 years old) asked me about bitcoin but i wouldn't take responsibility to others money, especially family.. to earn from bitcoin you have to keep your eyes open and check it on a daily basis but good luck and finger crossed for us and your grandmother Smiley
I'm the same, many people have asked me to buy Bitcoin for them, but I always say that if they don't know how to buy it themselves, they shouldn't buy it.

I can give them advice on how to use Bitcoin, but I don't make claims on the future value or something like that.
I want no responsibility when someone loses his money.
There is hardly any reason to deny this fact that holding of Bitcoin will help you earn a good amount of money at the end. As far as convincing grandma is concerned, I think this is the best thing that you being a grandson can do for her.

You need to take care of her investment to have better profit. The only thing she can do is that she can give you money.

Well putting all your money in BTC is kind of risky.
You should check the price fluctuations in short period and buy when the value is min.
See bitcoins are digital currency so your grandmother should and must know how to operate a wallet and actually use bitcoins.
Converting the whole I to BTC could be risky because the prices may seem always increasing but we never know what will happen in future.
I would have suggested to put like 50% of the savings instead of all in.

OK dude.... Now you are in 3% profit, after you did what we told you to do. Now it is time to payback the favors. You can make small donations to everyone active in this thread, to express your gratitude for the advice we had given you. That said, I expect you to hold on to the vast majority of your coins, at least until the 2 MB block size implementation in November.

earned almost 3.5% in 15days, now tell me if its risky. its the way you handled it, if you aim for a 100% earnings or a double your money scheme then that is way too risky.

You've got a good idea, But your grandmother also needs it because she's old and she needs to sell her medicines to her illnesses, But if she has enough money, but you say that She has all her money how if something happens suddenly. And your grandmother's money is invested in bitcoins that has fallen in price? How is it now?

You posted this thread last September 14 and currently, the prices of bitcoin are around $4300. To answer your question, this month showed a constant increase on bitcoin's price and is showing good signs for investments. If you see the need to cash-out the lifesavings she bought, then there will be profit garnered by your grandmother. It all depends on her decision whether to treat it as a long-term investment or short-term profit. Lastly, even if the people here on the forum told you some suggestions, the ultimatum of the decision primarily lies within your shoulders.

Hey Cheesy
Here are some points that you should remember:-
Bitcoins are expected to hit 8000$ this year
They are expected to reach the value of 5000$ by the end of October

What I suggest is ..cash them out when you guys are in profit.
Then whatever you earned use it to buy more bitcoins and rest of the investment she made let it sit in a bank.
This way she won't have to worry about her money getting wasted at all.

Are you really serious with that mate?
Do you believe what most of the people here are saying and also suggesting it to someone. While in fact most of the people here are just hoping too on the possibility that bitcoin will increase and most of what they are saying are just a mere opinion and no support but the candlestick and news shooting from different part of the world.
On your title, you look like you are blaming the people here who are just saying there opinion. You should read more and understand how they conclude on why they think bitcoin will pump soon, instead of saying "because you guys said that..".

REALISTICALLY no one knows when. There are a lot of factor to consider and the events are highly unpredictable.  Tongue

A very good story, but if that's gonna happen I think it’s your fault for telling it only in terms of its benefits without telling its risks and its volatile nature.

Dont rely anything in bitcoin because the price is volatile i think the best for all is to earn in job here and withdraw that not for savings so the reason is someone here that you do that so dont angry to them if you failed in that actions that you do because someone also stop you like me to not do that
