Mybe not because bitcoin status like a commodity, when market demand more bicoin then the price is going sky rocket and when demand is going fall then bitcoin price going down.

I don't think bitcoin can control the world economy because bitcoin is very volatile which value may increase or decrease the value. Though some countries bitcoin has been legalized yet it cannot controlled the economy. But bitcoin can help the economy to grow.

We can all testify of the freedom bitcoin come to create. For some of us who have benefited from the advent of bitcoin and blockchain technology, should be able to see great future in it.  I have foreseen how bitcoin will be the weapons that  will determine the country that will become world power in years to come. Bitcoin doesn't need to control or replace anything. Bitcoin is here purely to give people the option to choose, and this important bit of freedom is what makes this an ultimate alternative currency/asset. Bitcoin's volatility is just a temporary thing -- this market needs to mature properly, and a whole lot of liquidity. If we at some point manage to have institutions allocate a certain percentage of their portfolio to Bitcoin, this market will not be the same anymore. Institutions don't play around with pocket change -- they have the financial resources to obtain a large portion of the circulating coins ultimately.

No. Bitcoin is a store of value, method of transmitting money worldwide, method of making purchases, etc. It is basically freedom from bank and government control. It will not control the world economy but it will have an effect on how people store and send money and how they make financial transactions. It will make consumers more independent financially  and will give consumers more control of their finances and what they can do with their finances.

They're kinda stretching it... Sure there's future in bitcoin but not to the extend that it can control world economy. They function differently and also for that to happen, countries would have to relinquish using fiat and that is a problems in its own way.

It is true and in future we may see bitcoin adoption growing but the control of world economy is a much exaggerated statement in my opinion. Bitcoin is people's currency and not a international currency. Even if it was international not everyone would accept it. Yeah there are pretty old dated conspiracy theory's about a cashless, fully electronic society that will be EMP'd to throw humanity back to the stone-age and then the one's who planned this will have acces to all old resources, books/gold/silver, remaining infrastructure and will be the only's able to afford a militia to rule with an iron fist.

to control the whole world economy you need some basic things, such as mass level availability, acceptability, and credibility. I think the last two things are not a problem for Bitcoin but it is not available across the world. If you want to look for a cryptocurrency that will want to gain control over the world/region/economy, anything like that? Then look at some of the top alts. Pretty much many of them want to do something like that (except Litecoin and Dogecoin hehe).
