Bitcoin is on its way to controlling the world economy yes. I'd even say it's already controlling the world economy as more and more people are joining the network everyday as they're becoming live to the fact that a centralized economy is not the one they want.

This will not happen. Imagine that all the people tomorrow decided to switch to bitcoins. Who will work in factories, take out the garbage and so on. Economy the real sector will always stick by the Fiat and regulation by the government.

No!,, Bitcoin cannot control the world economy and different country cannot allow it. The contribution of bitcoin in world economy is in only in small percentage because bitcoin is transparent and no one can touch it. Bitcoin purpose is for digital purpose and without internet access bitcoin is useless.

Yeah people of my country also want this. It is because the price of the bitcoin is much higher than the pother currency. In the past people were using bitcoin because they were trying to save their money safely for the long time but now people use bitcoin as the source of income and they are investing the high capital of their money in bitcoin only.

It cannot control the world economy. Sure, it is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system that is decentralized which alone makes it worthwhile and it is glaring obvious it will be the most preferred method for everyone to use for payment purpose globally but it is only like every normal currency and I do not see the essence or the power it has as a tool or weapon as you so called it to control the economy.

All in due time. First bitcoin is technically rules the world economy from some perspective and second bitcoin will never be banned in all countries. OK some will ban it with some funny reason and other will try to control its flow in that particular country as much as possible. Think that bitcoin is phenomenon for most countries and that they still afraid to accept it and acknowledge it. But when this happens then we will see real bitcoin price charts.

Right. Control of the economy would be too much to ask for and would probably not happen at all considering that governments will never allow something they can't control take the reigns of he market

Bitcoin is already controlling the world economy. People around the world are reacting to Bitcoin instead of acting against it. This is why they tried to stop it and this is why they don't like it. It's a protocol that has too much support to be stopped now.

The fact that people are responding to bitcoin being a preferred system or supporting it does not mean it will necessarily control the economy.
Over time, bitcoin will become more of a normal currency and payment system and I do not see how any government will ever allow it as their primary currency.

It sure cannot be stopped now as you said but I sure hope they do not find a way to control it via exchanges.

Maybe there would be a day when Bitcoin will control the world economy but the chances are very less I think because for anything to control the world economy it must be very influential and must be stable enough but Bitcoin isn't that stable, it is very volatile. Yes, I agree with you what you said because bitcoin can control the world economy and especially now that has been powerful of bitcoin today.

I don't think so. Yes, BTC can be important some day in future, if it reach some high prices, and if it is adopted as a primary online currency. But I still don't see the way that world can function without paper money, or particularly without banks.
