The reason for this is unawareness of the digital currency. Most people in the world especially in my community do not know event the name of bitcoin. Therefore I think it will take a long time for all the people to accept and start using bitcoin as their legal and regular currency. When all this happens then we can say that bitcoin will now hold the economy of the world.

For every huge invention there are theories like this and yeah in some point it can be more easier to control the economy but the question is why to control economy with a decentralized currency?  |

I think that's just news that is made to boost bitcoin prices so they have a lot of interest with the ultimate goal of increasing the price of bitcoin itself, I think it is impossible because now only a few countries give legality to bitcoin and transactions, so it's impossible if bitcoin can control the world economy

its too exaggerating in my opinion.as long as all government still using fiat money bitcoin or other cryptocurrency would not replace and able to controll world.super power country would not let it happen. |

It has that capacity and capability; however, I don't think that at the moment, especially with what's happening right now, it doesn't have the power just yet and the maturity to control the world in its vastness in terms of talking about the business, trade and investment sectors. Bitcoin, together with the cryptocurrency market, should first have some changes and evolutions to undergo before it can really have that much of a worldwide impact. Also, inside of gaining "control", I would more so like to see it interplay with other similar businesses, since good competition brings out the best in everything. |

I have another opinion. Bitcoin will develop in the future but full control of the economy is what it will not do. It can exist with paper money as a solution to a wide variety of transaction modes for users. Bitcoin obviously has some great features but sometimes it's one of those features that may be loopholes. For example, it's a good security and people can use it to launder money. |

I understand that media's are very passionate in making news and very resourceful in terms of upcoming events. But as far as I engaged in crypto, bitcoin isn't strong enough to take our world economy into a better one just like it did to us. Maybe it will possibilities to happen if cryptocurrencies are fully accepted my most people worldwide and it's stability in the market.

At this stage of the economic development of society, bitcoin appears more like an alternative economy. I agree with this also. Bitcoin is very powerful that it is even the king of cryptocurrency and soonmer or later it will be the king of all the currency all over the world. This is not impossible to happen, because the technology is the new trend. This is what make the bitcoin being the number one because of the technology. |

Yes, Bitcoin is a disruptive technology changing ways in which transactions are being carried out across different sector but to be factual it's a currency to pay for goods and services and therefore not a weapon and in my opinion it would forever exist alongside fiat.

Bitcoin does not control the whole world economy but it some how affect the world economy by effect individuals country economy. Bitcoin work with many government to solve their economy related problems by solve their unemployment issues. And this thing help the world economy in a positive way. Bitcoin volatile also creat many problems which put negative affect on world economy. Bitcoin is also use for many criminal purposes and this thing influence negatively on world economy. |

Okay maybe bitcoin or any other coin from this market won't replace the fiat money but what about making them at the same level? For me there are lots of chances that they will be used in future in most of the places in the world. |

There are many valuable global commodities that affect the world economy but do not leverage it influence to control the worlds economy. And Bitcoin is just one of those commodities. Just like Gold, Bitcoin is expected to influence significantly the worlds economy and not control it. It is expected to bring financial freedom and many other benefits.
