just had 2.5btc dissapear out of my wallet, others are having similar issues with account going into negatives.   Be wary until we here back from Bigvern regarding this issue.  I am sure it is just a temporary glitch ( I hope).

What do you expect? The "exchange" is pretty much custom coded for people to sell low and buy high, why not leak funds.

There was a bug involving cancelling orders that refunded your money several times.

I told Vern about this bug earlier today. You haven't lost any funds. You're simply being corrected to the amount you should have had.

Apparently not everyone was as forthcoming as hazard who went out of his way to help in the situtation some folks racked up a couple BTC worth of order refunds and apparently just thought they were doing really good.

If there was a bug the exchange should absorb that out of their funds rather than charge customers

For the most part Vern did eat the lost coin. For all small few it was more than a couple satoshis. Same thing would happen at your bank if you got lucky and they forgot to charge you eventually they WILL charge you.

In this situation it was more like an ATM where you just keep taking out money and thinking oh I am good this is legit I musta had triple the balance I thought to begin with.

Perhaps Cryptsy launched too early. I know they were just in beta a week ago right?
Hope you get your 2.x BTC's back, that is a lot of money.

Website is vary vague about transaction refunds, etc.....    Would be good to here from others in the same boat.  Like you said Hazard did recognize the problem..   I am still trying to work out how.. Every time I placed an order my balance never grew it was always the same
