it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China. We don't need China to make Bitcoin survive. By next year, all of these things can be history and maybe we should learned the hard lessons that China is just a big headache.

It is time for Bitcoin and the whole of cryptocurrency to move on without China. We can still survive without it and in fact there are many BIG companies right now who do not also have any presence in China. We should not be afraid that Bitcoin can die without China...in fact the opposite can be true.

We can still survive without China

Bitcoin is far better without those scared little rats running for the exit every time another news story breaks.  Like cockroaches when you turn on the lights in the kitchen.  They scurry away so fast.

exactly let those weak be eaten alive we can survive without china as bitcoin really did it before all we just need to do is stop creating news about china
and stop looking for any possible reason to create another impact, bitcoin will survive as we all knew with or without those fake supporters from the country
of fake things.

Maybe in the future it will happen, but now China gives us negative news, which has a very bad effect on the price of bitcoin. I am sorry that the Chinese government does not want to accept the Crypto currency

I do believe too that sooner it will restore and will even rise in value. Regardless of China banning ICOs and bitcoin itself.

I'm more concerned that other countries might follow suit just because. But yeah, China bans everything anyway. Bitcoin value should be at least a tiny bit more stable with them out of the picture.

Getting rid of China is like getting rid of that big shit I did this morning.  I feel much better now.  I am glad the little fuckers banned themselves.

China will be back after they made an intensive regulation in their ICO and exchanges. What will be the significance of their bitcoin mining if they will not come back. This China event that bitcoin community experienced, is only the beginning of more similar occasion that will happen again in another country.

I'm not sure if bitcoin is better without China but it's good to see the price recovering. The bad news is already upon us now so hopefully the worst is over now.

If something tend to create more problem than what we envisaged we tend to just go ahead without but that's not the case here in that even though the news from there has not been encouraging in recent times, it does not mean they should be disregarded because if the Chinese is cut off totally, then more bad news is about to fall in which might be too difficult to return to the glorious  days but they should be managed.

I agree with you. although China has a major contribution to the bitcoin itself.
I see bitcoin get through the phase of a very dark rumor. the slope that occurred late these days, as evidenced by the rising bitcoin today.

China has a market of 1.4 billion people. That is something I do not want to miss in the bitcoin world.
But I would not mind if the big exchanges as well as the miners are distributed more equally over the world.
Too much concentration in one country is never good. Especially when the principle of the currency decentralization is.

The world community can really do without China in the field of crypto currency. Even if the crypto currency in China is banned, it can not greatly affect the currency. Just volume of the market will decrease slightly. However, China is not going to prohibit the country's crypto currency, after taking a number of measures to improve the level of security and protect the rights of investors, the circulation of crypto currency will be resumed there. But China gives us trouble and worries regularly. It's true.

What do these exchange closures do to the future of mining in china, and also NYA 2x agreement?

I don't understand the difference between China's OTC trading and exchange trading. Is it much harder now for miners to sell their bitcoins there? Can the general public trade whatever this OTC is? If it is harder, fewer Chinese would try to mine and join pools?

Can anyone Eli5 significance of exchange closures regarding mining and NYA 2x

I'm all for Bitcoin being in more hands but it's rather annoying that China has to try to regulate or even worse, ban, crypto every time things start going well.

Hopefully they will figure out the benefits of Bitcoin and will start to accept it!

We still need china even they ban bitcoin exchanges, they dont ban totally bitcoin, they have almost half of the hashpower of the network, this is just another drama with jp morgan nothing to fear. Just buy the dip and sell when it peaks, some are gaining profits in short term trading, very volatility means profit/loss.

China will be back no matter what. Their culture says otherwise.
What I meant by this is that, even if they say today that they will ban the bitcoin forever.
Tomorrow, expect a 360 degree change as something already happened thru negotiations.

I understand your feeling !
I don't want China to hold and control the Bitcoin, When we try to promote markets more developed today, the next day when China wakes up, they make the market go down badly.
It is time for Bitcoin and the whole of cryptocurrency to move on without China, can't even for China to decide the fate of Bitcoin

it looks like bitcoin is better without chinese. china destroys the order that has been built.

bitcoin will continue to run without a country that does not support it. as chinese do.
bitcoin will survive despite the storm.

I don't think the real investors will just shut up n quit. They have Hong Kong for all these things, and don't think that U.S. investors stopped investing because of the regulations. They started using better VPN.

In my opinion that china will come back in the Bitcintalk.org. More people more investor. When people invest more and more in BTC than BTC rate will be more valuable.

We can still survive without China

Bitcoin is far better without those scared little rats running for the exit every time another news story breaks.  Like cockroaches when you turn on the lights in the kitchen.  They scurry away so fast.
I'm not entirely sure if this is the case though. I think China is just being super smart and is somewhat stimulating the market to crash by spreading false FUD and probably buying up loads behind everyone's backs. Like it or not bitcoin is for everyone, disregarding race, country or social class. You and OP act like bitcoin is only for us westerners and China and chinese people should have nothing to do with it, that's a wrong mindset. Also, you can't ignore the fact that a big portion of the total hash power is still coming from China.

grose that's how dirty your kitchen?

china is going to buy back, they will and i think they already did.  these people are fond of gambling and its not just bitcoin that they are up to now.
china is regulating the ICOs which is now they are trying to make sure all these companies are real, registered and can deliver what they promise and this will be the end result of this law.

We are all better off together.

Amen. This ecosphere is still in its infancy, compared to traditional financial products. If only for the sake of decentralization, we want this as global as we can possibly get it; we don't want a monopoly by any given culture. but for the sake of liquidity, we should want more of the same. if this gets largely confined to a particular border, you get exactly what the fuck just literally happened with the markets. We need China, but we need a smaller China, or a China with stronger hands.

I don't think that bitcoin might have not reached such a bigger growth and a higher place among the entire digital currency network if China hadn't taken part in the popularizing and mining. It served as a base for the adoption that took place during the early days of bitcoin into existence. During those days more than 90% bitcoin users were Chinese.

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China.

Cryptoworld is indeed better without China. Also, Bitcoin is created to be decentralized, meaning there will be no need in any central governing party or country (in which China is trying to do in the past months). Our industry will strive more after with what happened in the past days. The Chinese government don't want BTC because they can't wrap their hands around it but I'm pretty sure that their own people wants the opposite. They will make all the possible ways to still trade BTC secretively and dodge the regulatory hands of their government. Good luck to them. BTC will move forward as it has been doing in the past years.

I hope it's just an issue about china that will kill bitcoin, as we know with a lot of news embracing this crypto currency bitcoin, and already we all know with china has made a crypto coin which is called LBC or LBF whatever it is , bitcoin will not die that easily .

From my perspective, I think bitcoin will still do good without China. This crash will not last for long, soon we will all forget that all these bans even took place. Bitcoin is already recovering and will keep recovering till its +$4000 mark, its proving that it has the potential of doing good without Chinese markets. We will still use bitcoin and make it grow, a lot of countries now are adopting bitcoin and it is slowly gaining population and recognition.

we are just a chess pawn and nothing more than that. i understand what you mean, for example in my country indonesia many stores are controlled by chinese descent merchants and their products mostly imported from china with cheaper reason (no racist intention). before that there should be known first it was about Chinese culture where they taught their children more business. and they choose hungry today for better future. Chinese trade tactics are remarkable. and we should learn from such a thing.
and now are we really "ready to starving"? and it's reasonable why China controls the Bitcoin market.

big investors want to start their business will certainly choose a promising country. if you want to start then look for one of these developing countries who certainly have the resources needed. maybe indonesia country  Grin but i am not sure if indonesia has the resources infact they still import from another country.

The truth is, China wanted to take control over the bitcoin network.

They tried every dirty trick there is. All failed.

They tried to fork bitcoin, they tried to attack with hashing power, they tried to bash bitcoin and pump alts...

I think they finally realized that they are powerless against a truly decentralized monetary system so they give up. Now they know they can't control bitcoin, they won't be able to do it ever, bitcoin is useless to China.

In fact, Bitcoin makes it possible for the Chinese people to escape from that shit hole.

So, they naturally, banned it.

That's good for everybody. (except the poor/innocent Chinese people)

I think people are overreacting to news from China. It's just one country and the world is big. China may have an influence right now, but I bet not even 20% of coins is in their hands, so even if they all sold at once the drop wouldn't be this big. We went down because all other investors started selling for whatever reason.
Oh, no, the Chinese are jumping ship, Bitcoin is dead, let's sell! Cheesy:D

Yeah, definitely somehow it has shaken the market little bit. As we know China has very strong network, plays an important role in cryptocurrency.
There was a great opportunity to popularize bitcoin and  taking it to next level. Unfortunately China has closed the door for it.
Its good that China has shown its reaction now only. So that it can be strengthened its market without the paper tiger.

Well I totally agree that bitcoin is better without china because its constantly up and down because of China, on the other hand there is much rumours and lies spreaded out that has nothing to do with China as a whole, its just people wanting to buy cheaper coins in order to profit, if China does go out than you can expect the prices to drop heavily because we have alot of Chinese investors in cryptocurrency, it takes the market a long time than again before it goes up cause in western countries they are scared as a chicken cause of the volatility, if cryptocurrency gets more stable it wil be big in western countries as well.

The government tries to take control over the trading activities happening with each and every trading exchanges. It has provided with the time target of 15th and now several exchanges have scheduled to settle all the trading related financing by 30th September. We can expect a conclusion by then.

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China.

We should not be afraid that Bitcoin can die without China...in fact the opposite can be true.

if bitcoin is better without china and now we've got negative impact and if we can without china about bitcoin problem will be more advanced for future bitcoin and I hope bitcoin will become stable again and without china or not hopefully bitcoin will be better

The closing plan of China's largest trade bourse has led to a fall in the price of bitcoin and to date there has been no sign of a further rise.
I think if that happens, this is not a setback because this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin when prices tend to plummet.
if they reject the existence of cryptocurrency and they refuse to return.
I think without China, bitcoin will not die.

They will always be a part of the Bitcoin community because Chinese people are all over the world and each country has a community on it, one of them had dual citizenship and history tells us Chinese support is good for bitcoin progress.

Chinese people aren't the problem here, their lunatic government is. People there won't have any problems buying themselves into crypto, even after a total crypto ban. China is a massive country, which brings in massive growth, but thus far, their government has only caused Bitcoin to go through sell-offs like we have experienced in the last days. One way or another, this must really come to an end - it's insane that one country is causing so much trouble, even in current days. People are sick and tired of this, but yet they let China get the better of them, what a jokers. People should stop focusing on something that has nothing to contribute to Bitcoin and crypto in general. FORGET CHINA! Focus on how Japan and South Korea are taking over the Asian continent in a positive way - that's far more interesting. If it was up to me, I would right now kick out China entirely from anything crypto related, just to get rid of them.

we can survive without china cyrpto not depend to them. but it has an effect to crypto world by now. but maybe after a month will recover. some investors just panic because of that china ban bitcoin but after that will recover and go back to normal.

We can say that Bitcoin without China will be better. Their price manipulation is arrogant and unbelievable. But they have a vast majority of hash rate. If they would decide to mine their own Bitcoin then it would be bad for us. The only upside of forks is a chance to earn some money if you have a lot of BTC (recently happend when BCH fork occurred). I'm only afraid of 51% attack which might be possible in the future. I hope more independent people will start to invest in Bitcoin which would result in making it more hard to perform.
Don't forget that they also brought a lot of money to the table. Do you remember when the Chinese exchanges first opened? The pump was incredible, but then they started covertly moving money out of the country, government got wind of that and started shutting them down one by one and we had one of the biggest downtrends ever.
History likes to repeat itself...

I do not think that Bitcon will be better without China.  It is always a downfall whenever a supporting citizen is being out of the market.  Bitcoin will be missing the demand this people of China is giving,  so I guess it would be better if China is still with bitcoin.  The sudden hostility of the Chinese Government may push down the price of Bitcoin but it gives new blood a lower entry  price making it more attractive to the new investors to hop in the Bitcoin economy.

Having a large entity joining the market like china has disadvantages that far outweighs its benefits. For starters, it can sway the market to it's advantage since it has a considerable influence. Yes, it can pump the price sometimes, but mostly its just FUD. So, yes, I think bitcoin would be better off without them.

Well I totally agree that bitcoin is better without china because its constantly up and down because of China, on the other hand there is much rumours and lies spreaded out that has nothing to do with China as a whole, its just people wanting to buy cheaper coins in order to profit, if China does go out than you can expect the prices to drop heavily because we have alot of Chinese investors in cryptocurrency, it takes the market a long time than again before it goes up cause in western countries they are scared as a chicken cause of the volatility, if cryptocurrency gets more stable it wil be big in western countries as well.
to me i think that china play important part in promoting bitcoin and we have to accept the fact, but i think that bitcoin is now decentralize and is already present throughout the world therefore i think that a single country cannot effect bitcoin too much.

We don't really care about them, do we? If they want to partake, they are welcome and if not, they can find their way for all we care. I am happy the market is at least recovering gradually even after all the crazy news from the region lately.

I'd definitely be glad. It is just frustrating that one government can have so much control over how a decentralized currency simply by virtue of having the most mines, etc. If they really intend to be out of the crypto scene and they'd go ahead with shutting down the exchanges, then good riddance. Heck, if they shut down the mines, they'd be losing a lot of money. That as well as the lost money from exchanges would not please their citizens. They've been simmering down there.

We can still survive without China

Bitcoin is far better without those scared little rats running for the exit every time another news story breaks.  Like cockroaches when you turn on the lights in the kitchen.  They scurry away so fast.
They should just go, the Chinese almost ruins everything on this planet. They took advantage of their low utility costs answer mine a lot of bitcoins in the process, am thinking of what is going to happen if they start to dump all their bitcoins.

China has about 20% of the world population.
They bring a huge amount of money into bitcoin.
And what happens when many of them sell, we have seen this week.
Bitcoin would not be near the price we have without he chinese investments.
But what should happen is that the exchanges and miners spread equally to different countries.

I'm not sure if bitcoin is better without China but it's good to see the price recovering. The bad news is already upon us now so hopefully the worst is over now.

My opinion that without or with China - price will be rise.
I read that Russia want build  large bitcoin farm in the world.
I think it's good news for because China can't control mining after.

Banning bitcoins in China proves that they are one great users of Bitcoins, Seems the market price are totally affected , as of now we are on the stage of adjustments and recovering the impact brought by China, We already adopt the fluctuations behind bitcoin, there's no way to panic because the real power of bitcoins still remains on us , going back the supply vs demand, and we already proved how it works in previous days. The same path..

Yes it seems so, although without China bitcoin prices will continue to skyrocket because users of bitcoin are global and this is proof that china can not control bitcoin. Because users are constantly increasing then nothing can stop bitcoin.

they foreseen the future and they know cryptocurrency in general is the future and there's money to it. those who dump must have bought back by now just as it has always been. sooner when the price reach about 10K, maybe japan or maybe singapore will also be doing it to profit too.

China has a great impact on bitcoin. Chaina government banned bitcoin overall in China. So that a great change in bitcoin. In future bitcoin has achieved a better position without China. So that I talk , China government should open it again.

It is really difficult to assert such postulation because of China's huge population and business involvement. There will be an impact on Bitcoin but to what extent is yet to be determined.

Of course, bitcoin can perfectly exist without China, but I'm not sure that the Chinese will forever give up the advantages that the crypto currency gives them. There are a lot of poor people and they need a salary.

It is far better to get away from this manipulative and greedy country. Bitcoin is not owing anything to china. Its existence does not depend on the support of this country either, so why the hell should people start to panic when this country is doing some shit laws regarding crypto and ICOs?

Thanks for your opinion although I don't think anyone ask for it. The point is no one cares about China and it has a very small effect of the overall scheme of things. They will come crawling back when they do and until that point no one cares anyway. The price of neck was very small in the overall scheme and it'll overall candlesticks. So we can stop talking about china and start talking about what we're doing now.

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China.

Hoping that it will be, especially in the future. Unfortunately, China has a big impact to cyrptocurrency including Bitcoin. China banned ICOs and Bitcoin that resulted to hard drops on its market value in a short period of time. We have to admit that it is really a loss to all cryptocurrency. Hoping that all cryptocurrency will be back to each of its feet again.

It was fake news about china that china is going to banned bitcoin because bitcoin is going to spread everywhere and there is nothing like that so in my opinion i would like to say that bitcoin is better everywhere.

I not only hope for this, But I also strongly believe that we will manage without China. Already just tired of this rottenness with prices on trade exchanges. It's incomprehensible to the mind that Bitcoin has fallen almost 2 times. We expected more for this autumn and I hope that by the end of this year we will see Bitcoin's steady growth And that all forecasts about the good future of the crypto currency are implemented.

Bitcoin will live well without China. On earth, several billion people and if at least half of the remaining planet will actively use bitcoin, then its price will rise to the moon.

I mean, no its not. Any volume of bitcoin from Chinese or from Antarctica is typically good for bitcoin or any growing market. Bitcoin is definitely perfectly fine without China accepting Bitcoin transactions although it is also definitely not better off without the more volume. Honestly I don't think they price drop had much to do with China, it was just the straw on the camel's back. Bitcoin had topped at $5,000 like 5 times, it was looking for a correction, China just speed that process up. I personally see Bitcoin falling down to around $3000 where it will rise back up to around $4200 or so before something new will happen.

Well it is sad for the Chinese who made a living out of it... Bitcoin is getting more and more popular it is true but China's influence was very important and still is Smiley We can only imagine how high the bitcoin martekcap will get once China's back and running Wink the more people are involved, the more money pours into crypto!

Man, you sounded so salty about it. It feels like you bought at the top and you panic sell then you want in again but you don't like the price. And it only shows that whatever China is scheming regarding Cryptocurrencies, it's kinda working. Regarding, "we don't need china" thingy, I disagree, not that you're wrong but your argument is just simply invalid.

I don't think Chinese people will stop trading bitcoin, whatever their government say. Those people will find other ways to trade it. Short term set back is inevitable.

As of now, it seems that the closure of the exchanges is a temporary solution. And some of the exchanges such as OK Coin and Huobi will be operating, although they will have to disable the CNY-BTC trade. Anyway, the Chinese government is out of options here. If they ban the mainland China exchanges, then the users will simply open accounts with exchanges based in Hong Kong and South Korea.

I'm not sure bitcoin better without China, because I know China is one of the biggest supporters of bitcoin, big investors also many from China. but prices recovered after the issue of China ban and close exchange, so bitcoin without China may not be a problem.

a big news bitcoin banned in china that makes people panic selling bitcoin, but whether bitcoin will die if there is no china?
I'm sure bitcoin will stay alive without china,
But that's just great news that keeps the bitcoin price down,
and I am sure that bitcoin is not banned in china.

I agree with you. Communist, totalitarian countries like china wants to control whole market. They don't like decentralised any community, They want to gather up whole power and the markets, like cryptocurrency, never let them do that. So, Volatility is    decreasing and market will be stable soon.

As of now, i can't say that bitcoin is better without china because china is the major country that giving volume and the biggest reason why the price of bitcoin is around to the current price and i think that if we are going to lose china in the bitcoin then it is already clear that we will have a hard time to climb up again because of the huge loss in demand in china.

Agreed. And I've moved on already so should everyone else here. Btc have strived even without the investments of China and that's what will happen again. But honestly, I think there are still Chinese investors and miners who didn't stopped using btc because they've seen and known how profitable it is.

Yes I agree with you that there are still Chinese investors and miners who are continuing to use bitcoin because they seek a good opportunity in bitcoin that they give them a good profit even there is now a high risk of using bitcoin in their country they can make ways in order to use bitcoin.

China can't ban bitcoin. Banning bitcoin by china is good thing to happen for long term though price in shot term. 35% Price correction is very healthy and necessary. I take advantage of dip buying more rather complaining.

Yes, chinese people are problem to the bitcoin and cryptocurrency ecosystem as well, without them their will be no more doubt and too much risk involved on any given coin in the market. There are lots of big whales from china that tend to manipulates the original value of a given coin and when everybody jump into it, they'll just dump that very coin and go to the next one by living people with handful coins with no one to buy that might finally lead them to losing their money. it better off without china! Nothing can stop bitcoin, it can live without china, its like having a bunch of wounds in your body, we can feel the effect of their banning for now. the pain, lost and suffering, but no physical wounds that lasts forever, time come that it will heal, will become stable, and will increase its value without the help of china, soon they will regret that they banned the future currency.

Sorry my friend, you need to properly understand chinese people. They can do business with you and benefit, but you can't benefit from them the way the benefited from you. They always think they are smarter than others. China is afraid some day it economy will fail, if they let their people keep investing on cryptocurrency, and by letting them invest in cryptocurrency they will have financial freedom that will make them very hard to control. do you feel me?

The Chinese govt. are not stupid. They know that blockchain technology is here to stay and as far as money goes, bitcoin is at the forefront of the cryptos.

Their aim isn't to kill bitcoin. They just want to have full control of it in their own country as they don't want more money leaving China as has been happening for several years now.

The Chinese economy has been built on exporting cheap goods to the rest of the world. The rest of the world (esp. western economies) are technically bankrupt but the ability to print money is keeping them afloat.

This means that China can't rely on those countries to keep buying their crap to keep the Chinese economy going. So China is looking to increase domestic consumption. This means they need Chinese money being spent in China.

But for many years the rich Chinese have been getting their money out of China to invest in property and businesses abroad.

So the Chinese govt. has been forced to introduce measures to stop money being taken out of the country (This is called Capital Control and could happen to USA, UK etc). But bitcoin and other cryptos became an easy way to get around capital controls so they want to spook investors until they can get some proper regulation in place.

And I would bet all my coins that some high ranking members of the Chine Communist Party managed to pick up some btc while it was on sale!

For me without China, this market will not attract many investors around the world. I think China contributes a lot to the Bitcoin market and they have the right to adjust this market price properly.
It will still sttract tons of investors, doesn`t matter if China is involved or not, but it is always better to have more people than less.
Without China nothing will change Smiley

And I would bet all my coins that some high ranking members of the Chine Communist Party managed to pick up some btc while it was on sale!
some people dont care about politics,in their eyes, china is a super power in the world, even america had to surrender to china.as china had grab lots of USDs these year, some capitalists want to earn these money from china, they appear to build a friendship based on these profit instead of criticizing china's racing to the bottom.
and i dont think btc is a threat to china's foreign exchange reserves.when you exchage some btc with usd ,you actually pay some CNY to domestic chinese people, you have to transfer btc to western country to withdraw USD,china's foreign exchange reserves dont decrease due to these actions.

Indeed so far we are influenced by many investors from china, they are famously happy to invest even without using analysis, 20% traders and bitcoin users come from there, I think bitcoin need adjustment again to fill the void, bitcoin need quick recovery to reduce panic in market bitcoin and also altcoin.

The more the merrier, but I admit sometimes I also think of it. Their mentality is, what they want, it should be the one others might follow or in short, they want to be in control. But at some point, one of the biggest investor in btc is China. The more investor/adopter, the higher the price it would be and that's what I like.

China sure plays an important role in the crypto-world to date, but even without them, the markets will expand. The current market cap (quite a bit below its high 2-3 weeks ago) is still so low, the system has to be made suitable for the avg joe out there, be it credit cards for crypto as started by tenx, monaco, etc. or more easily accessible and useable wallets.

All this will make this market grow so much in the long run that we should all still feel as early adopters in this world.

I am too awesome to even do Signature campaigns.

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China.

NO. that is a big no. China has a big role in this community. Many investors are from china and because of their banning of bitcoin our Bitcoin price might lessen, which happens several days before this day. Banning bitcoin in china is a great challenge to us today.

Agreed, if China government keep treating business or companies relate to bitcoin which always create panic sell from traders who trying to get profits from weak hands, then it's better if they just ban bitcoin and let their citizens send all of their bitcoin to other countries, other platforms, once for good. It's really annoying every time they want to halt cryptocurrencies trading activities.
There are some good countries to replace their place to create mining hardware and the biggest mining pools such as Japan, South Korean, or Russia. If this video is real (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Jqf_wZKFCc), there's a huge mining pools in Iceland.

Well I agree to that in the past china has given a great deal of donations to bitcoin, I have seen so much Chinese investors and miners that are thriving in making this community big and now that they have closed doors with bitcoin and now that we see the value of bitcoin is still rising in a significant way I think we can survive without their help, but as a nation that once help in the progress of bitcoin, let's just all be thankful because without their help bitcoin will not be in this state right now.

We should take into account that the Chinese bitcoin exchange market only accounted for approximately 10 to 13 percent of global bitcoin trades.

More to that, in an interview with the South China Morning Post, Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong Leonhard Weese noted that China’s restrictions on bitcoin trading and usage will drive businesses to Hong Kong and nearby countries like Japan and South Korea.

The price of the bitcoin is changing because of the ups and down in the ban and unban of the bitcoin in china but now it is being legalize in a lot of countries so that china is also being accept so now in china as well the bitcoin is gaining value but if it will not happen even then bitcoin will never loss the value so bitcoin is getting more and more high in price.

I think chinese investors will be big part of in bitcoin so if China going to stop all Bitcoin exchanges must close by September 30, but this type of thing not happening in first time at China it's happened May time not very we will get good news about this soon

Nothing will happen in september 30th, the bad things that had to happen already happened.

Anyone that wanted to sell already got the memo and sold, nobody in China (unless living under some kind of rock) hasn't already seen the news and got his coins out of there before the chinks randomly decide that instead of september 30th it's september 20th (they know it works like that on there).

So don't expect any more money to fly away from BTC due september 30th ban materializing.

Exactly so that the weak are eaten alive we can survive without China as bitcoin really did it before all we just did was stop creating news about China and stop looking for any The possible reason to make another impact, Bitcoin will exist as we already know with or without fake supporters from the country of fake things.

Agreed. And I've moved on already so should everyone else here. Btc have strived even without the investments of China and that's what will happen again. But honestly, I think there are still Chinese investors and miners who didn't stopped using btc because they've seen and known how profitable it is.
Same here! China is now an old stuff. Don't really care about their plays anymore. Honestly, I had enough of them already. Sometimes, I feel like they want to control the crypto market also. I really don't get why they do such things. But I am happy that now most of us have turned a deaf ear to them.

More players more money invessted in btc. in some time, I am sure, China will be one of major btc supporters and investors.
Bitcoin have the system that is aligned to the principle of law of price and demand where the more people deal to do transaction the more it can development and have the capability to grow. So China as the largest country in the wolrd could give bitcoin a time to experience the full growth and development in terms of the stock of bitcoin decentralization.

I agree with you because the Chinese market often dump the price but to be honest with the china government has banned the use of bitcoin this may have an impact on the growth of bitcoin, maybe asian countries that have not legalized bitcoin will be hesitant to legalize bitcoin.

We have also to take into account the rumours about China gov plant to ban miners. This could arise problems and delays in confirming transaction as the most of miners are chineese.

the day that Chinese actually go away i say good riddance but i am afraid that day may never come because China has nothing against bitcoin and they don't plan on banning it so far. and that means nobody is going anywhere even if they wanted to.

additionally, you can not prevent people from investing in bitcoin and using it. they will continue to do so whether the government wants it or not. bitcoin is decentralized and somewhat anonymous for a reason.

There is a FOMO brewing...

Bitcoin can survive without china. Definitely yes. Bitcoin has the biggest worldwide influence on the exchange market so it doesn't need anyone particularly china to survive. It is now the biggest cryptocurrency and has the highest potential among the others.

I don’t think so that Chinese can dump bitcoin, bitcoin profit is not reserved to some region Chinese are throwing saw on their own hand and they will know it in future and will moan on their decision. So don’t think like that bitcoin is surviving without china and will survive in future also.

I am afraid that those nations which have already legalized Bitcoin will go back and make it illegal once more, after seeing what China has done. A few days back, I read reports that Bitcoin users in Singapore are facing issues as their bank accounts were getting frozen. Now remember that Singapore was one of the first Asian countries to legalize Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will develop well without China. The planet is still full of countries where it is allowed and there people are interested in its development, it is just beginning to become popular.

I agree with you because the Chinese market often dump the price but to be honest with the china government has banned the use of bitcoin this may have an impact on the growth of bitcoin, maybe asian countries that have not legalized bitcoin will be hesitant to legalize bitcoin.

I don't think that Singapore incident happened because of China. China has banned many thinngs which are otherwise available all over the world in which Facebook being the main. Did other countries ban Facebook? China doesn't derives the world. Regarding legalization, countries will do what is in their interests. They simply not gonna copy China for that. china was indeed a major player in cryptocurrency market. But market can still exists and thrive wihout China.

that sounds wired...
I don't know why those people are thinking such type of bullshit talk. you have to know very clearly that China is the country which population has one of the major portions of Bitcoin Capital. so it is really wired thinking without them.

it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China.

We can't just say that Bitcoin is better without China because after all, we can't hide the truth that it is a major loss for Bitcoin. Just to think that its value dropped to 3300$ from 4500$ in just a short period of time clearly says that China is a big part of Bitcoin and other cryptos. But good grief! Bitcoin is now recovering and is now again on the 4000$ mark which good to see.

Hopefully bitcoin is better without China. My Chinese perception only complicates bitcoin with its policy. I see China as an authoritarian state of technology from outside China, but China fully supports its own technology and its people. I am actually tired of seeing China banning bitcoin.

We still need China as they have higher blockchain technology and many of them are experts cryptographer. I think we only need reduction of theirs trading volume as this will drastically reduced their influence on bitcoin market pricing during bad or fake news. I am happy today bitcoin price has raised significantly.

China accounts for 20% of the volume for overall bitcoin, they have a high effect on all given problems. I think we can get rid of it from the list of important users but the effect will emerge some countries that are afraid and start following in their footsteps, we can see the turbulence started to emerge from south korea and singapore, they start closing all crypto business and prohibit participation in ico, this is storm which we must all pass.

We really don't. Even if they have cryptographers they seem only intent in making new ICOs that are completely useless. I think that the Chinese ban on ICOs was actually necessary and is good for bitcoin, as it disincentives bad ICOs.

Bitcoin is decentralized. It does not need a central entity.

Plus, Chinese investors will find another way to invest in bitcoin. Chinese officials have not banned local trading of bitcoin.

According to answer this question bitcoin may or may not be better, it all depends upon time. Yes, china is a big platform for bitcoin. But bitcoin also expand his empire without help of china. In past many companies like Google, Amazon  etc. proved  that.

I don't think so. because Chinese people are holding one of the major portions of the Market capital of Bitcoin. it doesn't matter who holds this capital but it matters at this stage. if Chinese people are going to start selling all of their capital shares then Bitcoin market would face a terrific price devaluation so if China will leave this platform then it will not a good thing for Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not for a specific country or region. Also, it not depends on only a single country.but nowadays Bitcoin needs such type of strong economy backup like China.

In start It cause some problems for bitcoin. But it is stable again and gaining its value back it is better without china and bitcoin is independent of any region so anyone who thinks that if china stops then bitcoin will also is totally wrong japan, Korea and India has legalized bitcoins.

China will be back no matter what. Their culture says otherwise.
What I meant by this is that, even if they say today that they will ban the bitcoin forever.
Tomorrow, expect a 360 degree change as something already happened thru negotiations.
Yes, you're right. Have you ever heard about different ICO's? Can you say me something about Confideal?

I think people are overreacting to news from China. It's just one country and the world is big. China may have an influence right now, but I bet not even 20% of coins is in their hands, so even if they all sold at once the drop wouldn't be this big. We went down because all other investors started selling for whatever reason.
Oh, no, the Chinese are jumping ship, Bitcoin is dead, let's sell! Cheesy:D

Yes same with me too.I am so tired about this issue about china.IMO bitcoin would still be in progress even without the help from china.Bitcoin has proven it already and it's now very firm and strong like it has gone lot of hardforks but now it's still stood up straight.I know for sure bitcoin is totally stronger now through the tests of time.

In fact bitcoin is a decentralize currency, and a single coutnry cannot effect bitcoin, but i think that China is a big populated coutnry, so there must be some effect on bitcoin if they have stop using bitcoin. but i am sure that even their governent bnnned bitcoin but still their people will be using it through different tricks. Hope that very soon their governemt will release bane from bitcoin.

I really hope that china will join again in this bitcoin opportunity because they banned it in their country but like the title of this thread says, even there is no china in bitcoin, it is still good and bitcoin is proving that it can stand out even there is no big country like china because bitcoin is not dependent and it is still going up despite of the problems or issues.

Hard to say if Bitcoin is better without China but I suppose that you think on recent price growth. But this has nothing to do with China and would have happened with or without China. Bitcoin will fully be fully functioning there again and I think we could agree that China is important player but bitcoin is not depending on it.

Bitcoin will survive without China, but i dont think you can afirm the bitcoin is better without it, there are more than 1 billion of peoples in China, if just 5% uses the bitcoin (with or without the support of the govern) there will be 50 millions of new user to the bitcoin network and the market cap. But yes, the conflict of the govern with cryptocurrencies exceeded the limit.

Also, china have more than 50% mining power which gives them more power to decide on what kinds of codes should be implemented to bitcoin.
On the flip side of the coin, China is also better without bitcoin because their government is not really deigned for cryptocurrencies to run within their country.

Right. I think its already established that even without chinese support, btc will thrive, just looking at its movement today. It wouldn't be bad though if china changes it's stance of exchances and lift the ban

China is one of the pioneer of bitcoin and because of china they made bitcoin famous and expensive because of the chinese people that uses bitcoin and make the price grow into unexpected prices of bitcoin. I believe that with or without china bitcoin can still go up but it is better to work and become successful with the country that ones help you to get into where you at.

Truth be said bitcoin isnt better without China. China has a huge influence on bitcoin.. We need China to make bitcoin strong, remember they have the largest market in the world. Imagine 80% of them transacting with bitcoins, that will be a big plus to bitcoins, so bitcoin isn't better without china
