we can identify a good ico project when we search information about that project o website, through their whitepaper, their token and roadmap, morover, can it be used by people in real life, finally how good the interact between developers and investors, but everything has risk, we can not avoid that but we can only minimize those risks.

There are several factors to find them. Media support, partnerships, the team, the linkedin profiles, whitepaper, social media accounts. Also their work should be large scale applicable, I mean their project.

The rest is not hard for a project to rock the crypto world!

ICO's are not for noobs! Simple as that.
It's hard enough (although doable) for a noob to research an established coin.
Here's a good read about some of the bs that is going on with ICO's (scroll down to "Summary of the Current Bitcoin Market" https://blog.skycoin.net/statement/state-of-the-crypto-market-development-updates/

I think the team behind the project have the greatest role to let us know if it is having the potential to success or not. Also the whitepaper and the roadmap are very importants in every project. The failing projects have usually fake teams and unclear whitepapers, roadmaps.

All right. Only the analysis of the project will make it understandable to understand its profitability.

To check any project you should make its full audit of site, whitepaper, team, jurisdiction, community, technology and so on.

Just read their white paper and i think that is enough to say that you are going to be able to find out what is a good ico project with that strategy. Everything needs to be studied and clarified first and you can't just find a good project instantly because you need to learn it on a deeper way.

a good project can be known by looking at the concept of the project to be followed, because the concept usually includes some important things related to the success of the project. reading the website and whitepaper is also an option to specify a project.

Just have a look into the company profile first and then have a look on the market value of that particular company. Before investing in any company have a look on the price of the coin if increasing or not and if increasing then check the increment at what rate it is increasing.

I see how he is connected with some famous sponsors and media such as Forbes and Yahoo.
the method is simple, or you just see white paper and read some people involved there.
there is a linkedin link and you can see a trusted person is there.

For me it is really hard to know a good project.Thereare some which are good at first and will leave you hanging.Just try to read about the project.Read also about the managers if they have red trust also.

you are right, its difficult to know where is a good project because we need to read one by one of every ico project and we need to research every of them. once we make wrong mistake and we invest our money, then we can not take it back directly but we need to wait until the ico project is finished and meanwhile we can only hope that the ico project will be successful. but actually we can prevent from getting scam by the project by doing many things to know about the project so we can have more info about them.

This is interesting thread to learn how to improve "sniffing skill" of a good project.
I usually start from their roadmap and the team. At least their roadmap represents their plan in detail and what they do.

i'm newbie just know cryptocurrency, i have a little money and i really want to income ICO. But a newbie like me will not discern which is a good project. so i hope old member who have experience this will share for me How to know a good project?
Since you are asking us what to invest in, you have to research what the coin does before you make a purchase because 75% of the time you will be in a negative balance if you don't.

Maybe I'll give some advice here. The easiest way to know a good ICO or not, is in the following way.

- First we must see the website and its application. We should know that they should look convincing.
- We also see their developers. For people who know well-known and reputable developers, you'll find them trusting and happy.
- See testimonials or other people's comments about their products. If you have a lot of profits, you will surely believe.
- Look at how long the ICO was standing. If it's still a while, chances are you'll hesitate. But if it's been long standing, you'll definitely believe it.

And also, always do research on their coin so we know that their coin price can go up and succeed.

There are a lot of ways for us to know if it is a good project. I am also a newbie but I'm starting to gain a lot of knowledge on this business. As a bounty hunter, I always read the details about the bounty and not only that I also read the details on how the project will work and I also consider the team who develops it.

For me I must look first on what project did the team work with and the impact of that project and it's used! then the people behind the project and their background, whitepaper, roadmap and their website.

I also looked at their pre-sale if is good and got their minimum cap.

I think the ways to check to know the project is good or not is look into their whitepaper. Usally you can find their team member, roadmap, information about token sale there. Choose project have famous team member, and make sure those people confirm there work with that project. Choose the project have good roadmap, times release their product. Finally choose the project rise good amount of money, they do not need to rise too much money, 3-5 million USD is good for any project sale token, 5-15 million USD is good for blockchain project.

For me before i joined in some project i'll make sure that i know there goals and aims, and have knowledge about their project. Also when you joining check there background and their member.
