You need a lot of money to spin-off, unlike SOJ project - one of the competitors,they didn't do ICO or crowdsale thing but they pulled it off.
So I don't believe that you need that much money to launch this project. Or because you are not charging booking fees that's why you want to earn money this way.

According to our vision you will only need to show the QR at the reception. The NFC part is to access your room without badge or key. But it's perfectly possible to communicate the room number within the user environment and enable access to the specific room without visiting the reception.

You could charge for API access or even provide a way to share benefits with the API users. That way the websites would make you earn while they're earning, creating yet another revenue stream.
