Greed is really reasons why many of us the traders lose heavyly in trading. I have read many stories on how many people have make great profits from their cyptocoins investment and one thing I have find in common is that there are not greedy people, their invest with open mind and into something worldwide. Many has also lose their hard earned money through investment because of greed and fast profits ideas.

The biggest take-away from this post is the signoff "GREED IS GOOD Mother F&%kers"
Its not wise to follow anyone who spouts this as their mantra. It directly implies that self interest is their top priority.
Anyone that is trading on the internet or with stocks shouldn't have any interest in having a mantra. Investing is too random to have only one direction.

This is the case everywhere, not just in crypto. People somehow think that it's possible to achieve great things with no effort. That's simply not true. Sometimes you get lucky, but in general you have to put in time and focus to actually get something back in return. The people who really know what they are doing (because they spent a lot of time analyzing all possible outcomes) who actually share their ideas make it seem easy to those who don't have any clue. And then they get trapped in thinking that you can just jump on a hype train and end up successful. Successful people think very carefully about the opinions and assessments of everyone around them, but they don't let those opinons persuade them into doing something they don't fully believe and understand themselves. While it takes time to make a fortune in Crypto, it's not really difficult as long as you keep your mind open and keep asking yourself a lot of questions. The same is true for everything else that can be learned or achieved.

No, and it doesn't really matter either to be honest. It's very easy to fake crypto balances. The only way to authentically prove possession of a large stash of coins is to sign a message from the corresponding wallet.

There is nothing wrong with self interest after all we all want to have a better life so that in itself is not wrong, and to have that as a priority is not wrong either because if you do not prioritize that then who is going to do it, the problem is when that is the only thing in people minds, that will create a warped person that has no empathy about other people and their well being.

True. Unfortunately a lot of people seem to be caring only about getting something for themselves. Even if it means screwing over others in the process..

How many people build a basic website, start an announcement here, pay a few hundred bucks for ads, launch an ICO, get like 500 - 1000 ETH from stupid people, and disappear with all the money raised? Quite a lot, I'm sure.

Not sure if a lot, but definitely quite a few. This is why I don't put too much into a single project, no matter how good it is.

I would have at least a million right now, and balling like you bruce wayne. However I started gambling at the casino for some odd reason and spent about thirty to fourty grand there. Even if I would have invested half that money I know I would have clodse to a million or two million dollars. Ive been so wsad lately looking at that cointimemachine website.

Although I really don't put much emphasis on the price of tokens but on the marketcap which Ibelieve it is very important, nice picks but I don't know why you pick Maidsafe, the project seems to be dead in water for me. One of the early coin in the space and nothing significant has been delivered

This is why gambling with money you aren't happy to lose is a bad idea.

This is why gambling with money you aren't happy to lose is a bad idea. Well I would say its more that I have a love for money. And then once you start making money and dont know how to manage the money, well the casino can become an issue. Thats why I stay away from that place. Looking back on it the past few dayshads really made me quite sad, and sick. Thinkng about the amount that could have been invested in altcoins/bitcoin instead of gambling away money at the casino is sickening. Thiorty plus grand is a lot of money. For instance ii wanted to purcahse a 370z that I saw and I would have been able to purchase it in cash. I have no idea what compelled me to go to the casino.

If I was in your shoes I would just consider it a valuable lesson for the future. If you really end up becoming rich through crypto now you will know how to handle your money. A lot of people who suddenly become rich spend it all and then end up with mountains of debt that they will never be able to pay off. You've learned how quickly things can go bad first hand with your gambling, so it you hopefully won't make that mistake again in the future.

And the worst of all is those kind of scams only encourage even more scams, if the scammer got away with it then he is going to want to do it again and again, and because almost no one faces criminal charges even if what they are doing is clearly a crime then investors cannot do nothing except watching an empty wallet and a bag of useless tokens.
