There are still a couple of pools alive mining this. Network hash rate is still going solid at 4.5Ghps.

Not sure what is going on with AMC but I was mining just fine until a few days ago when I moved to a new house. Now I cannot connect to pool.amcoin.com

As far as your pool not getting any blocks, I have been mining with amccoin pool for a few weeks now and they were getting the majority of blocks, but now I haven't even gotten paid out for my last 150 shares from several days ago. What is going on? I really like this coin, I hope it doesn't die.

i did manage to find a block, but the high diff and low power has literally killed it. I still have the majority of my pool still setup but i didnt see the point in running a dead horse so didnt announce it

The high difficulty? I believe it's at like 1.5 or something. I just wanted to post that I was able to get back into the "official pool". There has always been some power on the network, the network never died completely. I think that the holiday weekend sent several miners on vaca.

I'm stuck on the block # 38293 with difference 51 minutes.

Could somebody share valid nodes?

We've opened an americancoin pool, http://amc.cryptcoins.net/

  • Vardiff Statum
  • Proportional payout per block
  • Finder of the block get 2% of the block off the top

We started the pool last night (11/22/13)  and we are hitting blocks regularly

Mining there.  Pretty lonely.  Is the coin dead, or still going ?

I'm mining with about 1/8 of the total AMC network hashrate and not seeing much of anything happen....
