Anyone buying this coin be carefull.
750k have been premined.  Wink

Do you know any non-premined altcoin? Grin I think it's only merged-mine coins (such as NMC, but they are useless)
Even LTC and PPC have ~10% of all coins mined in first days/weeks by devs and early adopters.

Seems you have no idea what premined means.
Premining is mining privately before releasing it to public.  Roll Eyes

Well, partly right. But anyway, these days any altcoin announce is a drama with instamine by powerful miners, and orphan-fest for small miners Grin Also there are a lot of new coins with super-first-blocks for devs, so public release for them changed nothing Cheesy
In this way AMC is not worse than others.

Of course premine is bad. But it also depends on purposes this premine spent.
And you know, no devs will be working for free.

So tired if this statement. Ppl think devs should make coins for free so u can mine it and make money. Plus the AMC devs ain't said shit. So far all I've read is them trying to pay off BTCe to get it on the exchange with premined AMC. If you don't want to mine it them fine...move on. It's old news. Yes we know it was premined some. I wouldn't call 650k a big premine. Hell there are ppl mining AMC right now that are getting 30000 a day.

I think that "pre-mined" coins are less than 650k, at the market value now, are less than 26 BTC~3000$.
Because if you try to sell all, price falls like a rock.

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]

Shut down americancoin-qt program. Delete all your files in c:\Users\*usermane*\AppData\Roaming\Americancoin\ except "wallet.dat" file
And run americancoin-qt again.

I'm sorry, this is completely irrelevant. I didn't read the entire thread, but when I saw the name of this alt I had to say something.

Seriously? AMERICAN COIN? Is that pandering much? Is this a coin just for americans? I wrote a parody post somewhere on the forum about releasing a coin called SCAMCoin or LibertyCoin, but seriously AmericanCOIN?
Whats next ChinaCoin? Oh wait, that one already went bust.

Nevermind. Don't mind me. I just really had to post that.

I'd love to say CNC is a bust but, sadly, it has a higher market capitalization than nearly all the coins that came after it *combined*
