<100000 I believe it won't ever reach that price. I'll leave 1 Bitcoin as a token, so that if it goes crazy one day and some people start paying crazy money like 100k for a coin I'll have something to brag about and I won't be left with nothing.

Yes, we all want bitcoin to hit the $1 million mark, but do you plan to sell before then or even if it hits $1,000,000 would you really sell then? So the question is, have you thought about when you plan to cash in or don't you plan to cash out?

This is really a difficult question to answer and it's due to everybody greed that they wanted bitcoin to reach so high so they can be rich but in the real sense even if it reached that amount. A lot of people will still sift pedalled and say "hey, why don't I wait a little bit its going to reach $2 million in 6 months".

The only thing that would make one cash out and not regret is to do it once and never looked back, shut out everything that have to do with bitcoin and continue with other areas of life because with constant checking of activities on the forum, speculation threads,  news around the globe, countries adopting bitcoin for foreign reserves, one is sure to die of frustration very early.

I don't think you should get out of the bitcoin world. Its a method of pay and you can still use it to make payments and for your finance. After all that is what it is for.

$1M is a nice fantasy, but it's still a fantasy.
People are saying a lot about probable price for bitcoin in future. But unfortunately we can't know what will really happen now, pretty possible that countries will follow the example of China or who knows what else. I plan to cash all my savings at 10k$ point, to me it is going to be the top, the price I have even didn't dream about when I just join to bitcoin's community. If the price is going to continue to grow after I cash it out I will not be disappointed, cause of 10k$ is very big money to me already.

I am looking to sell my bitcoins when the price reaches at least $20k each one.. I am not going to dump my coins at a not fair rate, i really turst in bitcoin, but maybe it would take some time until it reaches that price, you all know that there have been a lot of dumps in the last time, so i dont know what to expect anymore. But obviously it will rise, no matter what.

I don't really intend to ever cash in if it can be avoided. I want to spend it on other assets such as property et al if and when the need arises. The day a seller gives me preference because I'm paying in BTC is the day I know it's really arrived regardless of price.

That must be awesome! Shocked However, I don't think it will reach that high and if it does, then it's probably is acceptable worldwide. Therefore, no need to cash in, you can spend it just like your fiat currency.   Wink

For now, I try to hold as much as I can in cold storage. If I will be able to profit double, I might not wait for it to be at <$1,000,000.  Grin

Why cash out? In order to get the real money for sure. We can't keep going with digital assets all the time here. We need to realize them and get the profit if we're holding bitcoins.

I'll wait for $30,000.

Well, if I really desperately need fast money for my life - then I might probably sell part of my BTCs.

In the meantime, I haven't thought about it yet  Grin

I am cashing in and out in bitcoin from time to time because I have to pay some bills but I also do some jobs to earn bitcoin so its cashing in and out. I have no plans to leave bitcoin scene so I always have some balance left in case there are opportunities to buy when price is going down and then convert to USD again if it looks overbought and then buy again after it goes down. There are times also when I don't need to convert to USD and I just let my balance be there no matter how much is the fiat value because I trade altcoins anyway to add to my bitcoin amount.

who exactly is going to be left even holding BTC at 1M? essentially a lot of people will have sold out at 40K, 100K, 200K and so on. Probably a good chunk will be held by sovereign wealth funds and states at that point.

Imagine selling at 40K and missing out on the 960K.......

depending on the need when it will be cashed, the number of bitcoins currently in the wallet is not too much, and certainly to wait until $ 1m is not a short time, and whenever it happens.

for now that i just starting to excel in bitcoin to support my family financial needs therefore i will sell my bitcoin and convert to cash as soon i receive it but if time will come that our financial income becomes stable i will try to not to sell it even it will be greater than $1 Million mark because for me i will only spend my bitcoins in important things and the rest will be invested for my family future.

but traders mentality always been this way, seeing the huge pumped sell right away, seeing downfall sell right away, vice versa and nothing or just
few of the holders can manage to wait and treat this as a long term investment, 1M is really a huge amount but who knows what btc can bring to
us seeing how competitive and how the currency being backed up.

After reaching 1 trillion. There is a lot of debt out there and it has to get converted into something. Well that something is Bitcoin right now and will still be as it's the best form of money we've ever come across.

never put aside a price speculation about bitcoin just because you think it is "big".
back in 2009 nobody would have believe bitcoin will be worth $1000+
even this year nobody would have dreamed price to be $4000 everyone said at best it will be $1500-$2000

and a big price like that is not really a strange thing. there are assets in the world with not even half bitcoin's usage and they are worth nearly $300,000

Exactly, the greed of what could be? has got and will get a fixed %age of adopters and would be adopters tied down for life they dont even know it yet. That represents a %age of btc that is never leaving bitcoin, which is good for bitcoin and will increase its price. However there is a thin line between value and no value when an increase in asset value does not reflect in the owners purchasing power. Owning a $1million but never accessing it either directly or indirectly via interest or loans could arguably mean you dont actually have $1million. Make your coins work for you
