New website like this is always welcome in my book. I don't mind having more websites to look-upon especially regarding different ICOs today. Just visited your site and I really like the simple design and setup that you have right there. It is not confusing and the data is presented to you in a non-intrusive way. ICOs are popping out left and right and we need all the information that we could get to filter the right ones where we should put our money into.
One quick question though. Are you accepting payments from those ICOs to review their coin or you are just randomly selecting them and provide your honest feedback?
To be totally honest and transparent, we have not received any payment yet. We are asking to the project we are reviewing a donation or a bounty, but up to them to do so. (for now we've received 0
and we give them ETH and BTC donation addresses which are on the website, so it's public...)
we've been contacted to some projects to do a review and of course if they want it absolutely they will need to pay for it, but obviously they will not pay for a bad rating.
So if the website becomes popular we will do a sort of pre approval to see if it's possible for them to get a decent rating, if so, we might accept a payment from them and
mention on the article we've received one.Our objective is to produce 2 reviews by week for now, and we will never go to a ratio superior to 1:3 for paid reviews. To make it even more transparent we will organize poll, every week in our Telegram community or Twitter to ask what ICO our community want to be reviewed. I think it's a good guarantee that's we are not selecting project only based on $$.
I'm a CoinDash Team member, and I've participated to some ICOs as informal advisor, I don't want to broke your dream, but a lot of websites/YouTuber on the market right now are very well paid by ICOs and we absolutely don't want to follow this path.
We are also listing for free "incoming ICOs", if we are reaching a large audience it could become payable. Again, we will never accept any money from scams or very bad ICOs. This is something very important for us.
Of course right now the website is new, our objective is not to make money tomorrow, we have time, any feedback about monetization without ADs is appreciated
But I think this is a fair way... And when everything will be clear and decided we will explain it on the website directly. We want to be totally transparent.
