You wouldn't be saying that if you were a Windows systems admin. Or if you wanted to check your local or gateway IP. Or a bunch of other things. The command line in Windows is just for the more advanced users who know what they can get out of it.

No one really "forced" me to use Windows, it's just that when I built this system I had intended it to be for playing games and I'm not really doing that much anymore.
