Kodo seems to post hundreds of garbage posts...
I don't get it... Is it to look more respectful with a big number of posts?

Yeah I dunno, I've noticed this too.  Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it much, unless he tries to sell something.  Then the reason becomes clear.

+1 could be "reputation building".

When his first sell offer gets posted, we'll all jump in with demands for escrow and see how he responds...

I've been eyeing this guy for a bit as well. Seen him spitting his mouth off about banning abp from the internets. Immediately I checked his recent posts, and they are all garbage. Put him on ignore, until I see a for sale or buy thread from it.

Spammers etc. are beginning to adapt slowly, you can see obvious spammers making generic "I like this" type of comments in the hopes of not being spotted, not surprised to see them show up on such a public forum.

Is it considered spam when a person's hundred or so posts are all 3 word, shallow and vague responses?

I took notice of him when he jumped into a thread to claim I was a scammer (something off for a complete newbie) but if you look in numerous threads, many scammers got their start by pretending to decry scammers to make themselves look more legitimate. Hell, in one thread where I'm bringing doubt to a Paypal > bitcoin business (that was later closed down for exactly the thing I said would happen as they furiously denied it), even PirateAt40 popped in to tell me that I was out of line and that there was nothing but serious business ahead! Reading old posts is fun.

Wow, wish I had as much free time as he seems to have.

398 posts in about a week. That about 56 per day.

I like your site. I had an idea very similar that I was going to do with BitPay a long time ago that involved professionally approaching businesses based on the feedback on the website of viewer selected votes and write-ins and such, but it didn't go anywhere because I was scatter brained and involved in too many projects at once at the time.

Let's see how many projects kobo is involved in. My guess will be either one (in the loan subforum) or the Ripple thread explaining how awful it is, as that's where most newbie sockpuppets end up.

What is odd, is if you examine the timely postings, they are like 20-40 seconds off from each other. As if he opened up a tab for every reply, and hit submit one after another after written inside the post reply box.

I think he's trying to rack up a huge number of posts. Such amount will open up many business opportunities in the forum so he thinks that by writing quick, chat-like messages he'll be able to get that amount considerably faster.

Might be. And a pretty well programmed then. His responses seem pretty generic, I guess, but not that computer-AI generic, in my opinion.

Yep, I noticed this too.  Almost 400 posts in about 2 weeks.  It's interesting because they're not all quite as garbage-quality as some people doing this.  But enough are, and posted quickly, that it seems like he is pumping his post count for something.  Hasn't posted in a few days though.

I wonder if the guy trying to buy accounts is the guy making all these posts. Hmm...
