First Bitcoin fork, then cash then China everytime we think Bitcoin has survived it and it shall move on, then suddenly out of the blue we get news that bitcoin is being forked again in November. There was a proposal, consensus was reached, why then do they want to do this. It will make three Bitcoins and we shall be a divided house. I don't understand this Roger guy at all, whose he to make decisions on behalf of Bitcoin community. I do hope no fork happens or what do you think will there be a fork.

Chill out man. Fork or not bitcoin will still thrive. And more importantly, Roger did not make any decision. He just made an opinion that there's separation in the developers that will cause the forks. For me, forks are good as this causes some competition and the winner becomes "stronger". Will it divide the community? Yes. But in the end, majority always wins and we will hop on that bandwagon. Just look out for profit opportunities during all this circus.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

i think fork have another purpose to keep maintain btc on the right track and i think its not depend on the fork because we know bitcoin price will be higher after the fork happen. so if there is any fork is coming, we only need to wait and hoping that if the price is down, then we can buy bitcoin again. like many people said, this time we have to face a fork and we don't need to be panic and we can sit down and enjoy the ride and after the fork, we can see the price will increase again.

As we see Bitcoin Cash is valued at much lower level than grandfather Bitcoin.
I suppose, every next clone of Bitcoin will be valued even lower  than Bitcoin Cash.
What is the purpose and sense to produce this "low-end" clones is a mystery for me.
As some said previously, this only produce chaos and confusion for newcomers to crypto-world.

Each bitcoins fork makes bitcoins price goes higher; I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few more forks next year also

It is difficult to predict what might happen when a hardfork occurs. In the past, a lot of people were worried that the bitcoin might go down, but things did not look like they were, and now things are going to be alike.

Its true that Roger ver has already become the anti christ of bitcoin. But he has nothing to do with november fork.Frequent hard forks has become a matter of serious concern.Earlier,People were afraid of hard forks and they used to sell their bitcoins in panic. They sincerely expected that hard forks should not happen.

But nowadays, things have changed totally upside down.People are eagerly expecting hard forks to occur and they even buy more bitcoins so that they could get equal amount of free coins. Then, they just dump those free coins quickly. It is for this reason that bitcoin price is now increasing very high and has reached $5,910 today.

Overall, frequent hard forks is not good for the progress of bitcoin.

if the winters of Westeros was also like winters of bitcoin then they wouldn't need the wall nor the nights watch. we should call George R. R. Martin to have that in mind when writing "The Winds of Winter". maybe in the middle of the fight with the Others we find out "winter" was all FUD for Little Finger to buy more coins Cheesy

And the willybot would be the one that is teleporting armies around westeros , right?
And the characters that disappear like donkeys in the fog would be the darkweb markets Smiley).
Unfortunately this analogy will make Satoshi the Mad King cause everything started because of him and his premonitions.

Each bitcoins fork makes bitcoins price goes higher; I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few more forks next year also
Each speculation that forks will bring helicopter money makes the price go higher.
Once those coins derived from forks will start showing their true value (big fat 0) the forks  will stop influencing the price.

Winter was here and pass quickly. Now is again summer  Grin

It's still one fork to go, not everything is over yet.
And probably this one will be a bit messy.

Forks made bitcoin surpass the cap on its max price. Just the news of another fork by november made bitcoin to reach its all time high record of 6100$. We can imagine how much potential does it have.

Forks aren't necessarily bad. Sometimes forks are necessary for bitcoin to move forward. The news about a possibly fork on November isn't new.

Division between communities is to be expected in a decentralized platform. Like it or not. People will always have their own opinions and ideas on how to move a certain project forward.

Also, I don't think Roger Ver has that much anything to do with the November fork, as he has already has a version of bitcoin that he prefers. And also, Roger Ver definitely has no authority to make decisions on behalf of the bitcoin community. He already has his own project, BitcoinCash.
Well it does not really directly affecting the Bitcoin price since the trade mostly will be between bitcoin and the forked coin. It will not affect much the price of Bitcoin or the trade between BTC/USD but anyway we will know what are the people's reaction whether they will still stick to the "real" bitcoin or switch to another which they see it as a better one. As they say, the fork that will happen is different from what happen during BCH.

They've already killed poor Aerys II with a dagger in his back. They even killed the Usurper Robert Baratheon with a boar in his belly. now the Tommen Baratheon, protector of the realm sits on the iron throne with swords in his back like forks. and nobody uses donkeys anymore in kings landing. they are the mount of the wildlings which choose alternative ways.

they bring helicopter money but the money doesn't fly in bitcoin. those who want bitcoin will sell their fork for bitcoin directly not indirectly using a fiat.
that is why they don't affect the price after the fork but may affect it before.

Forks need to happen for the better of Bitcoin. But this is starting to get ridiculous. It doesn't need to happen every few months it only needs to happen to improve on the limits of bitcoin

Although I agree that there is need to brace up for more impact because even with the victory recorded so far by bitcoin currently and in the past, there are still more to come and only someone who is not conversant with the situation of things will think the upward trend will continue without some challenges. It will come but we have our consolation that just like the past, bitcoin will still triumph.

The part of dividing the house into 3 is what I won't go for because a lot of forks will still come and the core supporters are still very  much active which means the whole of the other forks will be treated as an alt and for that reasons the population is not divided into several groups supporting each alt. Traders are trying to make money that's why they trade in alts aside that, no other objective.

Still looking good for Bitcoin haha, even with all of the hard forks and FUD from every corner. And once the forks happen we'll sell the Bitcoin fork chain for more Bitcoin. $9,500 per BTC by Christmas.

That is correct. We don't need developers or minings taking decisions. If consensus is not reached, let there be a fork. The free market will decide which branch has more value. The other branch can occupy a niche spot or gradually fade away.

Will be closer to the end of November, another fork, of course a small but still worry about this is not worth it, as Bitcoin will remain at the forefront.
