Thanks! Was considering WDC, but figured it may have been a 'missed the boat' situation. Perhaps I'll look into it again. Never dug into NVC, the bit I heard suggested it may require some tweaks to the standard scrypt type deploy, but maybe will look into it if I have some spare time. |

Any longterm plan to seriously promote the *use* of WEC on a marketplace, say, silkroad?
Of course, it is all about how much it is worth/convenient before people start to use it... but a serious attempt to get its value "peg" to a few tangible things might help to differentiate it from other alt-coins.

Yes, I'm still mining, but it will be hard to clear the block so that the difficulty can drop. p00p. I have 6 7970s that I'll get up and running as soon as I put that PC together.

so if I mine this one I just say to the cops my soil wasn't fertile enough to just plant tomatoes, right? Anyways I am running your client. I have 16 peers connected at the time, but the block chain just wouldn't sync... The longer I am connected the more blocks it says are remaining for full sync! WTF  |

I would mine it for a day or to to resolve a block, but the client seems to never sync with the network blockchain. I did restart the app, but once again stopped at 1.14% or 4179 out of 367169 blocks... That way even if I mine for a day or two to resolve that block I would never see my coins in the wallet... With 26 connections one would think it will be easier to sync, not harder....

You are all aware, that no exchange, will ever add a coin called WeedCoin, for obvious reasons, right? Even Cryptsy won't touch it...If your mining it for fun, cool, just don't expect it to ever have any value.
