Hi everyone!
Was just wondering who or what will process transactions once all Bitcoins are mined.  Will nodes do this and we trust that people will do this without an incentive, or will there be one?

Thanks!

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Miners will mine and get paid by transaction fees. See some other questions that are similar or identical:

The miner's fee will push it into perpetuity. It will not stop just because the last Bitcoin was mined. Even without referencing sources it has been answered a couple of times before in other fora. But there is  currently the DOGECOIN model wherein we can add more to the current supply if the community wishes it.

All Bitcoins will be mined in more 100 years : we will all die...
But no problem : fees will grow a lot since this date and mining Bitcoin will be allway very attractive :-).

Eventually, Mining fees will be very high.
Since miners will mine transaction fees.

Wich isnt bad.
It means that Bitcoin miner will not lose their mining jobs.

I don 't think miners fee will be that high. But there will be a lot more transactions filling up those blocks, where the miners get paid of.
