There are many altcoins which are going to die soon because of lack in support from dev.  and community and you can't use your barehands to count them all (including shitcoins). However, in terms of promosing coin, eth is the number one since most of ico contracts were supportrd by ethereum.

Check at coinmarketcap.com , you can see hundreds  of altcoin will die.
In my opinion , waves and ethereum are promising coin . I have invested in them mainly .

There are many to mention altcoins that will soon die because they basically are not moving or not progressing or anything. But for altcoins you would want to invest in, try to check at the coinmarketcap.com website and there are a lot of choices there. Do your own research of what altcoins have potential in the future too.

normally altcoin will die if they are got delisted on the exchanges because there is no market support for them and i do agree with the post above me that   coinmarketcap is good site for reference which altcoin will grow and always pick altcoin which have good market support and pick the top 10 position to ensure your investment will not going to die and became the dust

Just browse through coinmarketcap. The ones on top are very likely to stay in the market for a long time. People have a lot of interest that these coins are performing well because they invested a lot of money in them. And they invested a lot of money in them in the first place because these projects have a good tech, team, ...

Ethereum and ltc are really good altcoin investments, they also have low prices at this time so it's good to buy now before they rise again. Waves is a good choice as well and I think it's getting an upgrade soon so that may cause an increase in the price.

You can see which are gonna die. they are listed at bottom but you can invest safely on top of market cap list.

if you ask about altcoin deaths in the near future it is quite difficult because it may be just a drastic reduction but not dead in the short term.
if for a good altcoin it depends on your own observation because everyone has their respective views.

If altcoins die than bitcoin will die as most of the altcoins are paired with bitcoin. I don't see a crash of bitcoin coming in the near future so uhm altcoins are here till we all go with retirement

ALT Coins ain't dying anytime soon. Neither is Bitcoin. Some coins might die but thats just bad investment choice if u had money in them.

Doge? may other like deeponion will die as fast as possible. But just look at the announcement thread and the promising project will have got a lot of the feedback from the participant or even the investors. but remember to not see the other signature campaigners participant that just try to shilling their project rather than gives the better comment about that.
