You see, I love this forum. I really do. Because it gives us a lot of opportunities to earn bitcoins and to learn a lot of things about the crypto world. But why do I get the feeling that there is a big discrimination to us low rankers? I mean I have seen a lot already that lead me to this thinking. Like replies on posts of low ranking members that already judge the person even when they do not know the person. Also on bitcoin signature campaigns, only a few gives opportunities for jr.members. But hey, You know what, I get it, this is because most of us low rankers often spam because we easily get excited in the thought of earning. But is it really enough reason to judge us and think that we are trash in this forum? Or that we are not capable of doing what high rankers here can? If you have bad opinions about us, at least keep save it for people who deserve it. Not to posts that aren’t really pure trash. Although it is good to say these kind of things to open eyes, but I don’t think it is fair to say it on low rankers who actually put a fair effort in building their posts or are just really curious which is why they ask questions.
I really cannot explain any further perhaps other low rankers out there can share their thoughts too. High rankers are also welcome to say something.

High ranks get trashed aswell. Majority of the time people won't call you out because of your rank, but because of your post quality - which I would say is quite bad for almost all Newbies and Jr. Members I see around.
About the low amount of campaigns:
1. If you let Newbies or Jr. Members to join any campaign they want, people will simple create tons of accounts and spam the forum for money.
2. If you are a low rank, the chances of you not knowing anything about Bitcoin or the world of cryptocurrencies is very high. Why not spend your time studying, reading, and learning while you rank up, rather than worrying about getting into a campaign and spamming nonsense across the forum? The amount of people I see just spreading misinformation is impressive.
3. I wouldn't say your posts are of good quality. Which validate my point number 2.

I agree on your points. And they are valid. That is why I have small post counts since 2016 because I am here for the knowledge. I don’t want to spam because info i get here are special for me it helps me in trading and having infos about scams. Many people here actually give good advices in various fields. That is why i take care of my account. Because someone said that if i get banned my IP also gets banned. My posts were merely attempts to socialize to get a feel of what people here are like. I won’t say I don’t care about campaigns but It isn’t my priority for now because i have a lot in my hands. With school, work etc. my point is that no one should look down on people just because of what their rank is. But then again. What the majority does is what people base the thought for the general. Thanks for shading some light man. I hope a lot of newbies like me learn a lot from this. And make the image of us newbies better.

Hi Vitamins, completely agree with your point of view. I registered here to be able to use search and to read interesting topics about trading issues. But really I had (and still having) a feeling that discrimination to lowrankers is higher than average. Especially in Russian threads its level is impressive (not posting there, just reading). Was there only because needed to track btc-e issues.
However Eng forums seems to be more friendly and here for sure I saw much less inadequate people.

I do not think that the people here look down on Newbies, everyone started here as a Newbie. Some people trash anyone that don’t agree with their views Let’s take it with a pinch of salt, I have seen Hero members got trashed before. For signature programs, there are some that allows Newbies, you just have to look around. In any case, you will be able to upgrade to Junior member in 2 weeks if you are active in the forum. You can join most of the bounty program by then. Good luck and see you around.

It's okay that people do that to you don't worry. They are only doing it because they feel like they were there first, and so they are kind of territorial, it's funny. But if you are able to learn more then them then you're ahead of the game.

Dude, do some research about that concern. That has been answered a lot of times not just here in bitcointalk forum but also by mr.google. Don’t make us beginners look more awful than what we already look.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I tend to write long book-quality posts and I mostly write for the sake of fun and enjoyment. I do understand what you're saying when it comes to the negativity that can be found in some places on this forum, but you can find that everywhere in life; it's just how people are. I wouldn't let it get me down, keep your chin up and before you know it you'll have a new set of problems to keep you occupied. What I mean is, when you're down the only direction to go is straight up.

These are obvious things, especially for forums and internet. Who would take every single negative post to heart? Sometimes its annoying. Blessings to all noobs *went to search for interesting signature campaigns*

You can join most of the bounty program by then. Good luck and see you around. They do, but there are at least 2 reasons for that. One is the number of spam accounts that come here just to level up either for campaign or to later sell the account for money. As a spammer it's difficult to level up to SR or Hero and not get banned, so high level accounts are usually writing decent posts, while newbies spam. Two is the number of people who register here to post links to their sites, scam people, or sped FUD. When people see another newbie like you they put you in one of these categories without thinking twice.

Very well said ... People ( not all ) here judge lower rank users regarding to their rank ...And this is completely wrong judgement because you can find newbie posts are more valuable than higher rank users . Rank isn't anyway a measure of judgement

If your reason for posting on this site is to earn money from a signature campaign, then your spam is worthless and you are trash, regardless of your rank.

Keep your chin up! Insecure people boost their own egos by putting others down, especially when hiding behind a screen with no accountability. Educate yourself by reading the valuable threads here, ask meaningful questions, and participate so that your activity goes up and your status goes past newbie. You'll get there!

I'm extremely new and this is going to be my first post. It's a little disheartening to learn about this, but elegion is right. You'll see discrimination almost everywhere else. I am relieved to read the replies. If I ever encounter something like that and it escalates I'm pretty sure reporting would help solve it.

I couldn't care less what someone's rank is, but there are endlessly repeating patterns that makes many people ill disposed towards them.
There's campaign farming which consists of totally meaningless posts made in an attempt to rank up, there's the endlessly repeating one of people asking questions in threads with the answer on the first page in extremely bold letters, there's the asking of questions that could be googled in a second.
I've never seen a noob rounded on if they're writing quality posts. Most don't so they are rounded on.

Hmm yes I also think so, but not every newbie behaves like that. Also the Legendary members started as newbies so you shouldn't treat every new member like that. To prevent airdrops and bounties from cheaters it would help to set the lowest rank which can participate to "Jr Member" I think.

I've never seen anyone treated in any particular way because of their rank. There are plenty of legends who attract constant derision because of the pathetic shite they write. It all goes on behaviour and newbies often behave in the ways outlined above.

If people are looking down on you for being a beginner then they're just trying to be territorial. It's not nice but that doesn't mean they are better than you in any way. You can be better at them in something as they did not cover everything.
