Actually, buying altcoins is one of the options if you really want to make more profit. i saw one video about holding an alt coin for a year but ofcourse you can't just pick out of no where. You need to do your research about the coin. Alt coins are for long term hold i think and there's no need to diversify.

I think it's better not to buy altcoin because at this time altcoin price in the recovery period and so better you hold your altcoin until altcoin prices back stable and you can sell it and get a good profit
