- Most of these came out in the last 2 weeks alone, and this isnt even all of them . Just to put it in perspective a little bit. All of these are dying or will die, and two weeks from now this list will be twice as long if not longer. New Alts. will only work when everyone gets behind one coin, not 10 per day. Thats how LTC succeeded - I dont think people here will ever learn that though, just putting it out there -

The more crap alts that come out, the more people realize that they are worth shit.
Then people will stop mining new alts all together unless it implements a new concept.

Then people will stop mining new alts all together unless it implements a new concept.
People will not stop mining scam coins until there are no more idiots left to buy them. Anyone with half a brain knows these coins will die, but people come on here to talk them up because they either have a large holding of them or are mining them. |

Add Abstract Coin to the list.
Hell, I'm even working on a new alt coin. To show how up to speed I am, I was under the impression that at most there were only a half dozen alt coins, with only two of them taking hold, and that Abstract Coin was envisioned to merely mock them and possibly Bitcoin as well, and this section simply had discussion on them few. Boy, was I wrong.
Anybody working on alt coins are sick motherfuckers. That said, I'm off to work on my alt coin.

why so much hate for the scam coins. I mean, who the hell cares. If you hate them, don't mine them, buy them, or read the threads about them (probably best to mostly avoid the alt forum all together I guess).
Clearly plenty of people mine them (WeedCoin spiked to 800MH/s shortly after release tonight), clearly people buy them (more or less). No one outside this forum will ever hear let alone care about 99.9% of them. So whats the issue? who cares?
