why so much hate for the scam coins.  I mean, who the hell cares.  If you hate them, don't mine them, buy them, or read the threads about them (probably best to mostly avoid the alt forum all together I guess). 

Clearly plenty of people mine them (WeedCoin spiked to 800MH/s shortly after release tonight), clearly people buy them (more or less).    No one outside this forum will ever hear let alone care about 99.9% of them.  So whats the issue? who cares?

Im not against alts. I like them, all I am saying, is that an alt. will not work when people are trying to promote 20 a day. I know this because I see it all the time, its been going on a long time and getting worse. People want so badly for an alt to succeed, well, there needs to be a good idea, a good name, and good promotion and backing. If most of us got behind 1 alt at a time, we would all profit much more from it, rather than pumping and dumping all the time.

#1 Everyday alt. pump and dump -  Example, its like a robbery. Anyone can put on a mask grab a bat and rob the 7-11, dosent take planning or time, or people behind it, its quick, but youll only make off with a few bucks.

#2 Backing one alt at a time - Now, if you want to make off with a lot more, rob a bank, time, patience, backing, several people involved and more time into the one project = bigger payout -

 - Most of these came out in the last 2 weeks alone, and this isnt even all of them . Just to put it in perspective a little bit. All of these are dying or will die, and two weeks from now this list will be twice as long if not longer. New Alts. will only work when everyone gets behind one coin, not 10 per day. Thats how LTC succeeded - I dont think people here will ever learn that though, just putting it out there -

Yea thats true, which is why these alt coins will go on for a very long time. Everyone wants to have 10+K coins in a wallet somewhere just in case they ever gain traction. I know I wish I had a wallet someplace with 10K BTC in it.. No complaints if I had 10K  LTC laying around in a dusty old wallet.
Thing is even LTC was seen as a joke not very long ago. Yet, today for some inexplicable reason. its worth on the average 3 bux each.

I think the people who complain the most have the most invested, be it in time and/or money.
To me, it's just a hobby like stamp collecting, maybe one or two of these coin might buy me a drink or two sometime in the future, but that's about it.
The new alt-coins never seem to leave this forum, mostly people are not even aware of these coins.

With Porncoin , sexcoin the level is now quite high and it's gonna be difficult to make this whole alt  coin business look more dumb and not serious.
I also believe most of these new alt coin (let's say 98%) are made by kids or people hoping they could get some money out of it. they are made for fun ,  like some game , or some blog one could start , you know...At first we start nicely and after a couple of week we get bored of it , we realize it's crap and we don't update it anymore and finally we totally forget about it.. It's now so easy to launch a new alt coin.

But some other alt coin bring some innovation (new algorithm, new concept, new way to release it , better marketing..)
