Blockchain Firms Team with Aion to Expand Interoperability on Global ScaleEnterprise [Suspicious link removed]pany Nuco has announced that its Aion subsidiary has teamed with six [Suspicious link removed]panies to expand blockchain interoperability on a global scale.
Founded by Matthew Spoke, who started Deloitte’s blockchain group in 2013 and is a founding member of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Aion is envisioned as akin to cloud computing, connecting compatible blockchains that are operated independently. The process is seen as helping supply chain management, healthcare communications, and government functions.
In October, Aion raised an initial $22 million USD to build the first interoperable blockchain network. Last month, the company, along with blockchain firms Wanchain and Icon, formed the Blockchain Interoperability Alliance, a new advocacy group centered around interoperability between disparate blockchain platforms.
To ensure Aion’s vision of a global ecosystem of connected blockchains is achieved, the company teamed with six more blockchain firms including Bancor, Enigma, Metaverse, SingularityNET, Bitt, and SONM.
Bancor, the first protocol for intrinsically convertible Smart Tokens, will give participating blockchains in the Aion Network access to continuous liquidity regardless of trade volume. Enigma, an off-chain peer-to-peer network, will connect with Aion to secure multi-party platforms, allowing developers to process sensitive data and bring computational privacy to every blockchain.
Metaverse, a multi-tier blockchain system, will work with Aion to explore the ability to transact native digital assets on the Metaverse protocol across other blockchains, providing access to new user bases and industries.
Decentralized artificial intelligence platform SingularityNET will collaborate witn Aion on research and technical design not only for SingularityNET’s platform, but also for the neural network based ‘Proof-of-Intelligence’ consensus algorithm being developed by Aion. SingularityNET will also provide broader accessibility to AI without introducing a centralized integration point.
Aion’s partnership with Carribean bitcoin startup Bitt will help the company to create a settlement network serving the Caribbean’s 13 sovereign nations and 12 dependent territories across 7,000 islands. Bitt will utilize Aion’s technology to bridge multiple production environments into a decentralized structure. While Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining (SONM) will provide the Aion community with the ability to rapidly deploy the Aion kernel, and be an early adopter in mining Aion upon the release of the public network.
Spoke said they believe that by collaborating with each of these well-respected industry leaders, they can solve fundamental challenges that are needed across all blockchains.
