There are several roles that provide rewards in Aion's economic model:

For the initial PoW release (this year Q2), rewards can be earned by mining.

On Aion-1 (2019 release, hybrid consensus), validators/nodes will receive rewards for processing transactions. Additionally, validator backers (DPoS stakers and PoI solvers) will earn rewards by supporting the validators.

The PoW and hybrid consensus releases will be bridged and coexist. AION's coin supply will exist on both chains, so mining will continue to generate rewards into the future.

Additionally, Aion bridges between blockchain networks will have their own distinct network of validators and fee distribution structures.

I believe it can. Aion has huge potential since there will never be one blockchain and we will need something to interlink all the blockchains. Wanchain is aiming to do a similar role but in financial sector.

You're right, $5 seems Easy target for AION. Like Market just start re-bouncing So just be patient here. On April 25th Aion network is launching MAINNET that make the project more reliable among the users. What are your thoughts?

Why the price of the AION tokens does not increase, even tend to drop. No hype.. Looks like developers focus on the roadmap and not on price increases.

There is a decline in the days when mainnet will come out on all projects. They sell investors for a short time. I think the price is still cheap.
