"In the end, all coins will die off like RUC and IOC. First FTC and CNC, then TRC and NVC, finally LTC and BTC, but it will take much longer."
Do you agree or disagree with it??

Probably. BTC is a good start but it has far too many flaws to ever be considered a worldwide currency. Something better will come along and replace it I think it inevitable that sometime in the future we will move to some form of completely electronic currency. Whether it is centralized or decentralized.. Paper money is expensive and difficult for governments to track!

Agree BTC will not last forever. Nothing does. But it may stick around for the better part of our lifetimes

I agree all coins will die in the long run. But It will be replaced by more efficient fast and new technology you have not seen now.

It's what you say when you buy too many CNCs before they crash.

Definitely, BTC and it's derivatives are good, but are far from perfect.
Something new will eventually supersede it

Fontas is a fairy tale from the trollbox. An excuse for the mass-psychosis rampant during pump&dump cycles.

Well, I wouldnt take too much to heart with what Fontas says.... On the other hand, Like some have said, we may eventually move to some sort of electronic currency, BTC will not last forever. In the end though, we will not have electronic currencies, we will be using gold and silver, plain and simple. It has been used as currency since the beginning of civilization, and in the end, wether we destroy ourselves or from some sort of natural catastrophe, gold and silver will be used again, it was here before, and will be here in the end. Unlike anything electronic or paper wise -

I am skeptical. BTC will only die if the userbase disappears, which is proportionally less likely to happen as the coin is more widely adopted for real payments and transactions. It all depends on how likely one thinks this is to happen for a given coin, and personally I think BTC and crypto in general are on a path to widespread adoption, eventually overtaking traditional currencies as we move towards a borderless digital world.

I think you are wrong. you are fixated on the technical aspects but this isn't what is going to provide value to them. They need to have markets, partners, and media attention too, and not just to be traded... There are already other, better altcoins like OpenUDC or Timekoin, but they don't have market strength.

I am skeptical. BTC will only die if the userbase disappears BTC will die if there is nobody to inject real money into bitcoin...

I don't agree I think BTC and LTC will be ok. The rest will eventually die off. The life cycle of an alt coin, Pump then Dump and everyone forgets about it. Maybe with the exception of Namecoin if they can get Dot Bit to be popular enough.

Did a search on Fontas. Other than a Spanish Footballer, there is one of two blogs saying that he is a legend for Pump and Dump of Alt coin. I didn't know there is such a legendary guy/group here. Maybe someone can enlighten me on what he/they had Pump and Dump so far?

He's a 16 year old who scams 14 year olds for their junkcoins with pocket money.
He DOES however know they are all worthless except BTC.
