Seems to me, many users can be thoroughly vetted and scrutinized for trust . . but indeed, I could wrong.  I have engaged in peer-to-peer sales with a few members now, and each time the transaction went through smooth.  Not a particular member on this post though.  Anyways, this thread caught my eye . . . like I'm sure it did others.  I wouldn't just take someones word for it about scamming, and the opposite is true.  I wouldn't take someones word based on their words alone.  

I think that there is "untrusted feedback" for a reason.

Unfortunately, I do not think that will happen. Given that OP refused to use escrow, we can pretty much state with certainty that we've prevented *some* damage (i.e. people from getting scammed). I'm sure that he/she will be back under a new alias though.
This forum is way too lenient towards bullshit, which is one of the reasons why butthurt scammers and criminals of all kids (see Quickseller & co.) as well as shills from shitcoins (see DeepOinion and a few ICOs cryptodevil has busted recently) can damage the forum by spewing bullshit out of spite.
